I do not reccomend.
The office staff to PA are rude. I am not going back. I left office feeling judged, misled, upset and very disappointed.

Dr, Shaffer's office reached out to me via telephone and scheduled my first vaccine dose for the following day. His queuing model was unique and very efficient. I was in and out within half an hour, part of which was a rapid-fire discussion about the pandemic. We set up a phone call and I interviewed him for the local newspaper. Great interview, good story. I had no issues with the second dose a few weeks later.

My son has been gone to this office since birth, 12 years now! We love all the staff, and they always get my son in whenever needed, in a timely manner! Robin at the desk is always so helpful with any issues, faxes, or questions I may have or need! We have recently been seeing Don Root PA-C, who is always thorough, caring, and takes the needed time to answer any questions we may have! GREAT OFFICE AND STAFF!

Dr. Listens well but does not explain or offer proper treatment. Unless you are there for a cold or sinus infection you are going to be referred to a specialist. From experience , I now know that is because the Dr. Has no clue most of the time. Office nurses are also rude to make up for their own lack of knowledge.

I love Dr. Shaffer, I've taken all three of my children to him since birth. My oldest has very special needs and he has always listened and taken my opinion into account. He's a very good listener and always solves our problems quick. I've never had a problem with getting an appointment quick if one of the kids gets sick it's always that same day. I don't care for the nurse practitioner but she'll do in an emergency. The staff is great as well
