I am incredibly grateful for the exceptional care I received from Dr. Ramaiah during my recent bypass surgery. From the very beginning, Dr. Ramaiah demonstrated unparalleled professionalism, expertise, and compassion. Their thorough explanations and patient-centered approach eased my anxieties and made me feel completely at ease throughout the entire process. The surgery itself went smoothly, and the post-operative care has been outstanding. Dr. Ramaiah took the time to answer all my questions and provided clear guidance for a successful recovery. Their dedication to my well-being was evident in every interaction, and I felt supported every step of the way. Thanks to Dr. Ramaiah and their incredible team, I am on the path to a full recovery and feeling better than I could have hoped for. I highly recommend Dr. Ramaiah to anyone in need of top-notch cardiac care. They are truly a remarkable physician who goes above and beyond for their patients.

Heart attack 8/12/2003
After a major heart attack twenty years ago @ the age of 51, I was flown to the University of Ky where Dr Ramaiah preformed quadruple bypass surgery on me on 8/14/2003. My blockages percentages were 100, 99, 98 & 93. Two mammary arteries from my chest & two arteries from my left forearm were harvested to bypass my blockages. After almost two weeks at the hospital, I was released to go home to as Dr Ramaiah put it “ live your life without restrictions”. Today at age 71, I’m doing just that ! Married to the love of my life for 47 Years, we have 3 grown children, all married…. With two children each of their own, for a total of six grandchildren. We are blessed…. But my life of the last twenty years was made possible by the skills of Dr Ramaiah, we are forever thankful for the outstanding care I received.Thank You Dr Ramaiah !!

In my shoes
I met with Dr. Ramaiah after having an angiogram and PeT scan due to high calcium scores. I do have considerable plaque (12 years vegan, notwithstanding). My new cardiologist suggested I was a candidate for bypass surgery and set up the appointment with Dr. Ramaiah. Being asymptomatic, no diabetes, good weight level, at 72 years old both Dr. Ramaiah and I thought it best to monitor my health and treat my condition of plaque buildup medically. I asked the most pertinent question – what would you do in my shoes? He was very reassuring and kind. He also took the time to get on a call with my brother, a cardiologist at Mount Sinai, who concurred with our opinion.

Only one visit so far for consultation. He was kind yet serious with explaining my condition including the new concern found that day of a significant blood clot in lungs which would delay my having the TAVR for a severe Aortic Valve. Yes, I would recommend Dr Ramaiah to anyone.

I owe my life to Dr. Ramaiah. He did bypass surgery on my heart when it was "ticking time bomb." Compassionate -- yes. But more importantly, available for immediate surgery when that's what I needed.

I live in Lexington Kentucky...I can never repay,or put into words, what the man did for me. I was diagnosed with a tumor in my lung Oct 16,2009.. This man of God,in my eyes that how I see him, took me on and reassured me from day one, that I was gonna be ok. No I wasn’t the best patient, but he treated me like I was. Always calm, and always had a small cup of coffee in his hand.Every time I think about Oct 16 2009 and then the surgery Nov 20 2009,I tear up. I had just answered my call to preach the gospel, and what a test to go through like Job,just not as severe. I’m forever great full and thankful for his gift of knowledge and surgery from God above. I would make the drive to wherever he is,for my treatment. That’s how much respect I have for him,and how much of an impact he put on me. I’m still alive, and still just as blessed serving an Almighty God.....Blessings and Joyful Praise Min.T.A.Mundy Sr

Just had the pleasure of experiencing his treatment and management. He is pleasant, calm, very patient, and treats you like a family member. He is quite concerned with meeting your needs and the needs of your loved ones. Excellent bed side manner and I liked hearing the floor staff sing his praises which were unsolicited. Yes, I highly recommend him.
