Dr Daknis was my Dr for more than 10 years and was great until he joined Seaview - now at my last visit at 11:00 there were 3 patients in the waiting romm with 10:30 appointments and 1 who arrived with a 10:45 appointment - when I finall saw Dr Daknis it was 11;20 and his review was exactly 4 minutes and was told to see an orthopaedic surgeon but never gave me a nem because he as rushing off to the next patient - I have referred friends and family to him in the past but never again - I don't want a Dr who runs - literally runs - from patient appointment to patient apooint looking after my care

I am a 75-year-old woman who has been taking about 25% of my tramadol prescription for the past year. Despite that, Dr. Daknis made me feel like a drug addict. I had just been to see the chief of neurosurgery at Princeton medical Center who had told me he did not think surgery was necessary at that time. Nevertheless, Dr. Daknis was afraid to treat me before I saw the neurosurgeon in his practice! Either he was looking to make additional money for his practice by making an in-house referral which was unnecessary, or he did not feel he had the skills to deal with my problem. However, he did not admit to the latter, He just tried to get another doctor in his practice involved with my case. I think a call to the Chief of Neurosurgery at Princeton medical Center should have provided him with ample information!

Dr. Daknis was godsent to me! I visited him as an 'emergency' just a day before the fourth of July weekend, due to excruciating pain in my lumbar area and hip spasms. The front desk staff were extremely accommodating towards me and gave me an appointment right away. The doctor is professional, compassionate, a great listener, exuding exceptional bedside mannerism, and took his time to get to know me as a new case. The treatment he prescribed me was effective almost immediately and my pain started to subside. He prescribed me physio therapy as well and had outstanding results. Highly recommendable doctor and facility!!
