arrogant and condescending
It makes no sense to work in an ER with people who are scared, vulnerable, and frantic, if you are going to meet their concerns with apathy and dismissal. He insinuated that my PCP didn’t know what she was talking about, and the office staff claimed they were “swamped” when she called, and she was disconnected when she got through to discuss my symptoms with Dr. Dryden. Strange, given that I was the only person in the waiting room and the ER was a ghost town. Swamped and disconnected? No, arrogance and lying to avoid deigning to speak to someone else about my concerning health issues. Wildly unprofessional & cold, and he seemed to be in a hurry to get in and get out to his other nonexistent patients. Absolutely absurd, and disappointing. The other staff I saw were wonderful, but Dr. Dryden is a glaring problem.

The devil!
I want to start off by saying that, myself and my family always have the best experience at Baylor Frisco, however Dr. Dryden is the devil! It took everything in me to not erase his name off of the board and write that. I resonate with EVERY SINGLE negative comment left about this doctor. He will challenge you, roll his neck, jammed the otoscope in my ear (when I told him that I have an ear infection) which he also challenged me by saying “How do I know?” And mind you this is my second really bad encounter with this doctor; he was the devil the first time I met him a few months back but this time I wanted to give him benefit of the doubt and be understanding to everyone having bad days. But tonight made me realize that this is his actual demeanor and excuse my language but even when the front desk lady came to have me sign my discharge papers; once I told her what happened and how he once again did not help nor want to prescribe me any antibiotics, she responded with a curse word.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I have never in my entire life been treated this way by a medical professional. I've been feeling awful this entire year with symptoms I should be having. I am 30 years old with symptoms of someone who is 70 years old. I live in a rural area where it's hard to get healthcare so I drove an hour away to Dr. Dryden's place of work. Prior to this trip, I called Baylor and asked if it was alright for me to come to the emergency room ,because I know it's an emergency room for emergencies, but I wanted to be seen for thyroid, autoimmune disease, and cancer screenings since it runs in my family. The operator said she recently went to the ER for the same thing so it's fine and I can come. I get there, and Dr. Dryden comes in quickly. He immediately has an attitude when seeing me. Saying things like, "what do you want? What are you hoping to get out of being here? You do realize this is an emergency room right?" When I told him my symptoms he stood there in silence looking at me like I said the most absurd things. He started doing a routine physical exam and randomly asked me if my gums bleed. I said, "yes, but I figured that was just gingivitis." He replied, "Well I don't know what does your dentist say?" Why even ask me that question? Then he asked me, "why didn't you just go to a hospital by your house?" I told him how it's hard to get in to see a doctor in my town and I don't trust the hospital in my town because they misdiagnosed my daughter when she was only a few months old and almost made her have unnecessary surgery. Again with an attitude, he says, "that doesn't matter." and brushes my feelings off completely. This man has no bedside manners whatsoever. He will make you feel small, stupid, and like an inconvenience. It's not like I came in as a drug addict looking for my next high. I didn't ask for any medications. I simply asked for tests to be ran to get to the bottom of my symptoms. He reluctantly ran the thyroid test I asked for and what do you know, it came back slightly elevated. In conclusion, when you become a doctor, you're supposed to do it to help people and part of helping people is being compassionate, understanding, and knowledgable. What exactly did he gain out of being so mean and rude to me? Why was it necessary to treat someone that simply wanted help that way? This man has no bedside manners whatsoever. He should not be allowed to speak to patients ever. I tried to justify his actions and wrap my mind around how a prestigious hospital like Baylor Scott & White could keep someone like him on their payroll. I tried to tell myself, maybe despite being a horrible human he's an excellent doctor. Then I got a grip and remembered to have some self-respect and know that in no world did I deserve to be treated like that - "excellent doctor" or not. If you ever hear his name, run!

I would give 0 stars if I could. I went to Centennial ER after experiencing Covid/flu-like symptoms for 4 days. I have a history of asthma and was having a terrible time with wheezing/coughing and shortness of breath. At night time I was even experiencing apnea, and I live alone. After sharing a video of my breath sounds to several of my prior nurse-coworkers, they advised me to go to an ER. When Dr. Dryden (barely) entered my room, he stayed in the doorway, asked what symptoms I had and immediately says "You probably have it". To which I respond "Oh...really?" and he said "Yep. I mean, everyone does. We'll run a covid/flu test". He leaves abruptly, never to be seen again until 2 hours later. The nursing staff never checked on me for those 2 hours either - no updates, no blanket or offer for any kind of comfort. Being an asthmatic patient, probably my biggest complaint is that he did NOT check my breathing with a stethoscope. No one did. He never even came near me, let al

Complete waste of my time. This so called doctor has zero bedside manners. Rushed in and out only to tell me less than what I was able to learn via google. Attempted to engage in debate and confrontation when I shared that I could not take a particular medication. Didn’t ask at all what my current medications were. Literally in and out in 60 seconds. I waited in the wait area 45 minutes for a drive by review from the doc. Useless.

An incompetent and irresponsible Doctor who should be ashamed of calling himself a Doctor. Lacks all skills to be a Doctor, does not come even close to a patient, and makes a diagnosis of whatever he thinks. If could, I would give him 0 stars!

Horrible! Worst experience I’ve ever had with a doctor. He came in without listening to a single thing I said, disrespected my mother, patronized us, and had unneeded blood tests ran to prove a point. If you are at ANY of the hospitals he works at, and find that he is working, run for the hills you are better off suffering in another waiting room than being belittled by this monster!!!

One of the best M.D.'s I have met in an outstanding ER. Dr. Dryden helped me on several nights this past week. He was patient and thoughtful in treating a Urological problem. The staff in the Urology group were all of the highest caliber. He is Board Certified and would recommend him to anyone. The E.R. is professional and luxurious. A hard combination to find these days.

Met him today in the ER ... he came in and listen to my concerns and then he had tests run - when the results came back he came back and explained everything to me thoroughly. I wasn’t feeling well but turned out to be much sicker than I suspected. I would have never realized how sick I was - had he not been on duty. I had been at my primary doctor the day before and they missed my diagnosis completely. Thank you Dr Dryden!!

He appears to be highly educated and experienced. Dr. Dryden saw us in the emergency room and was able to give us guidance on what tests and medications should be used for our problem, and what tests were unnecessary. I have very complex medical problems and he was able to put together a plan to evaluate and treat me. He was professional, listened well, and performed a complete exam, even checking things I didn't think to mention. I appreciate having a Doctor like this in our community.

He is one of the smartest doctors we've ever met. He explains things in a way that we can understand and is extremely sensitive and caring. I hope we never need to use the emergency department again, but if we do I pray that Dr. Dryden is there to take care of us.

He doesn't deserve any stars. The WORST doctor we have ever had at Centennial. As many times we have been at this hospital, the more we get satIsfied. This Dr is rude, unprofessional and doesn't deserve to be called a DR. The E.R needs top notch doctors on staff. Get rid of him as fast a you can. My mom came to the ER with the pain and BP of 170/85. He was going to discharge her with the BP of 190/90 if not me and my brother to complaint. It's a long story but bottom line GET RID OF THIS DR asap

He was the WORST doctor we have ever had. It is a shame that Centennial has him on staff. He is rude, unprofessional and truly not a good doctor. The E.R needs top notch doctors on staff without an ego and attitude. Get rid of him as fast a you can. He challenges people when you tell him what tests you want, to the point where we would have walked if not not an emergency situation. His ego gets in the way of diagnosing the issue even when we told him what it was. Not a good doctor!
