Dr. Charles Jaffe, MD

Awful. Damaging. Relationship with Dr. Jaffe started as marriage therapy. I could get over his tweed-patched-elbow-everything-but-the-pipe manner, but he was disinterested in us as patients, did not listen, wouldn't return phone calls, would then say something in therapy like it was a eureka moment, when it was something I had begging him to pay attention to for months. I quit, he became my husband's therapist only. When revealed over a decade later that my husband was a decades long closet alcoholic, any self-respecting therapist should have seen their was virtually no therapeutic effectiveness and terminated the relationship. Dr. Jaffre more than happy to keep writing scrips and cashing checks. His was a net negative impact on us as patients.
