Unwilling to listen to patients
I made an appointment with him for sinus nerve pain. I had gone to him to rule out an intermittent tooth ache issue that could possibly have been a sinus nerve. He directed the conversation to tinnitus, which I was not there for. Insurance billed me hundreds for a condition I have never been diagnosed with and had not gone to him for, and it was not covered by insurance. I had to make a 2nd appointment to go chew him out since he'd not answer to my messages. He was really rude in the 2nd appointment. This doc knows how to make his paycheck. It eventually turned out I had an old cracked filling that was causing nerve issues, not sinus related.

In less than 5 maybe 10 minutes spent with me he had already made up his mind about me & unfairly labeled me based on health conditions I listed on his form asking if I currently have or have HAD in the past. Pretty sure I’m not the only 50 year woman to have had a few surgeries in her lifetime. I waited a week for him to send in orders for a test that their office kept telling me had been done & while I was on the phone the MA had to go watch Dr. Katz electronically submit the orders. AVOID!!

So glad I got a second opinion after seeing Dr Katz. Do not recommend Dr Katz. The exam was not thoroughly done and quick to recommend surgery
