Hard-Won Initial Appointment Cancelled
Dr. Lapp cancelled the forthcoming appointment I worked for more than a year to schedule with him, three months of silence after the fact. He did this without so much as a by-your-leave and for completely incoherent reasons. He didn't even have the guts to spurn me himself and coldly rejected my proposal for a minimal compromise under which I would speak to him by telephone rather than seeing him in person. Dr. Hillman has a narrow mind and a terrible temper. He screamed unwarrantably at me on the telephone when I tried, meekly, to schedule an appointment with him instead of Dr. Lapp. Wendy Springs has bad manners, tyrannical tendencies, and a vindictive underside. Most of the time she simply refused to do her job. Melissa seems to be the only person at the Hunter-Hopkins Center who has any right to be involved in the errand of mercy known as medicine.

Dr Lapp treated me for FM & CFS when other drs said it was all in my mind. He was kind and patient while thoroughly explaining my situation. Without his attention to my situation, I would probably be 100% disabled today. Thank you Dr Lapp for being there for me.

Lapp capitalizes ($) on the vulnerability and frustration individuals with invisible illnesses experience. My husband saw him for FMS and throughout their visits (few and far between) and phone sessions (very short, expensive) he irresponsibly prescribed opiates despite many warning signs. After seeking treatment for SUD, Lapp refused to provide referrals that advocated for responsible pain medication options, leaving him high and dry with constant, severe chronic pain. Irresponsible, greedy.

The Hunter-Hopkins Center, started by Dr. Lapp, is a godsend for those of us suffering from invisible illnesses. All who have been told by physcians that ME/CFS & FM aren't real diagnoses, or that it's in our heads, will find assurance in his compassionate & knowledgeable review of the diseases, progression, & treatment plans. He doesn't promise miracles, alleviating symptoms in 24 hours, but does hold true that by following the plan, you will progressively feel better soon! Dr Lapp Truly Cares!

Dr. Lapp is one of the few people in the U.S. who is a true expert in treating Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, etc. He is a very kind man and has tremendous compassion for his work and for the patients who are burdened by these loathsome conditions. His practice is not inexpensive, but they are worth every penny spent as he has many ways in which patients can improve their quality of life. I have been a patient for 10 years and no one has been as kind or helped me as much as Dr. Lapp.
