Older Adult discrimination
I accompanied my 98 yr old father to his appointment with Dr Longwell. He never spoke once to my father who was fine cognitively. He told me to have the facility where my father is contact him in 3 to 4 weeks to evaluate my father’s seizure meds ( increase on and taper another was to plan) tThe facility called last week. I called three times this week and left messages as they have not returned the facility’s call. It’s obvious that an older adult is low priority even though I explained my father is not doing well with both medications on board in my messages.

Older Adult Discrimination – Dec 05, 2024
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Longwell?
Doesn't explain next steps. Office denied a prescription, without providing a reason, for medicine that's not safe to just stop taking. Seems like a good case for a lawsuit. Their voice message refers you to a web portal that they claim you can request refills and make appointments. The web portal offers neither service.
