Worst doctor in America
Dr. Charles Newell was HORRIBLE! I visited him on October 24, 2024 for the second time during my lunch time, it was three months from the first visit. Besides the time I spent on the exam, I waiting only for him over half hour. Until I asked the staff my time was running out, they let me to see him. I said it took me such long time to see you every time. He said that's just half hour, I always took one more or two hours to see other doctors. I said that's your problem. Then he said: Nobody confront with me, you are the first one, I don't want to treat you, YOU ARE DISMISSED. I was shucked, it sounded he didn't let me waiting for two hours in stand of half hour was his mercy! I followed his instruction from the first visit to wait for three months till this appointment yesterday to solve my eye's issue, he dismissed me, for not even my fault. However, I am glad he is just a doctor, not a leader of a country, otherwise he would certainly be a dictator.

My first appointment started out badly. I was angry after sitting in the waiting room as a black curtain was growing in my field of vision. Less than a month later multiple breaks and tears were found and successfully treated. The physician's comments were reassuring, “debris in the vitreous can be normal following laser and should settle over time”. At my next scheduled post-op I was immediately hospitalized for an emergency vitrectomy with silicon oil inserted to stabilize the detachment.

I'm legally blind in the eye this butcher worked on, to much scar tissue. He's always late to scheduled appointments. If you value your eye sight, find another doctor!
