Great neurologist
He is brilliant!!! And listens to what you are feeling as a parent most importantly he is an advocate for his patients (my son) regardless of the emotions that we as parents might experience!!! He will always put his patients first and I admire that about him and he will always do the best for your child! Rare find. He has been the best neurologist that I have encountered.I hope this helped someone else!!! 100 percent the best, I wish I could have him as a doctor again.A mom with a son that has Dravet!!! Xoxo

Awful. Dr. Nichter is the worst pediatric nuero we have seen and we have seen over 10 from Philly to Cincy to Boston to Conn to DC. In the midst of a difficult diagnosis for our son he was condescending, insensitive, and in my opinion had trouble with women. When my wife called him asking him if he considered a certain diagnosis (you know, what any concerned mother would do) he got all bent and scolded her for questioning him. When she asked questions he would address his answers to me not looking at her. Joke of it all was that after doing ur own research, which he scolded my wife for, my wife was correct and when working with far better doctors at other hospitals who listened, we arrived at a diagnosis. Bottom line: if you have any options to go elsewhere to avoid this guy do so...he is awful and a sad excuse for a doctor. Is it possible to leave negative stars?

He always makes time for us. We always feel that he truly cares for our daughter and has her best interest at heart. He fights for her to ensure she gets what she needs to thrive and we can count on his honest opinion when there are decisions to be made on best course of treatment options.

My daughter started out with a different neurologist who was awful! Thankfully, we found our way to Dr. Nichter. He is very knowledgeable and he has lots of experience. He patiently explains everything, listens to our concerns and answers all our questions. There have been times we needed to see him right away and he was very accommodating. It's a real peace of mind to know that my daughter has a good neurologist. We live an hour and a half away but it's worth it.
