Dr. Nutting is THE BEST. He performed a liver embolization on me that not only stabilized, for 4.5 years, but also reduced much of my very aggressive, very advanced cancer that had spread to my liver. In that time a new therapy developed that I became eligible for, and I am now more than 3 years No Evidence of Disease when I was given 16 months to live in 2014. I wouldn't be here today if not for him. Not only is he a great doctor, he's a great human. His bedside manner is top notch.

At the time of this review, I was suffering from the classic symptoms of BPH. My Urologist down in the Springs suggested I would be a good candidate for a PAE. After much research I called Dr. Nutting. Glad I did. Dr. Nutting is very experienced. Skilled, and importantly, Caring. Start to finish with my initial call; a Virtual consult; Out Patient Surgery, and follow up care my treatment was of the highest quality and yielded outstanding life changing results! My primary care doc told me about Prostate Artery Embolization which I had never heard of, and recommended Dr. Nutting. After a telehealth consult during which he patiently answered all of my questions , I scheduled the procedure. Dr. Nutting and his staff were great. For reference my prostate was about 104 grams. I had previously had green light laser treatment and dutasteride. The procedure itself was painless and only had light sedation. Unlike other BPH surgical treatments this really was minimally invasive. I was at the clinic for about 5.5 hours total and as expected went home without a foley catheter. Some achiness in the pelvic region the first two nights, followed by a about 10 days of somewhat painful urination, but nothing like after the laser treatment I had previously endured. I highly recommend Dr. Nutting, and PAE if you are a good candidate. My symptoms are much improved after 4 weeks.

Dr Nutting is an extraordinary physician. He has a rare combination of technical expertise and a thoughtful, compassionate approach to patient care. I feel very lucky that he treated me for prostate artery embolization.I had BPH with a 157-gram prostate. Two urologists said I needed surgery (with a high risk of incontinence and ED afterwards). I heard about PAE and consulted two interventional radiologists. Each of them had done less than 50 PAE, and they were vague about outcomes and potential complications. Then I found Dr Nutting, who has done hundreds of PAE procedures. He explained exactly why he was using specific equipment and techniques. He was realistic about what I might expect, and potential side effects.Best of all, the procedure was actually painless. His team were incredibly well organized and efficient. I had zero problems and complications afterwards. Two months later, my urinary symptoms are significantly better and I've stopped taking medications for BPH.

This was the best and most efficient clinic from how the contracted the insurance company to the schedule to the follow up. Dr. Was right to the point and gave answers that even I. Could understand.

Everything about my embolization at Ecco experience was top notch. Dr nutting and his staff (from check in to prep to nurses Jacob, Jennifer etc) were absolutely amazing. Top notch explanations, procedure prep, after care and phone follow up are a model for how care should be administered.

Excellent bedside manner, Explains everything simply and clearly so I could understand. Quick procedure with no complications. I am off medications and feeling great. I would recommend this procedure to anyone with an enlarged prostate who doesn't want to be on medications for the rest of their lives.

Dr. Nutting was recommended to me by another physician who was caring for me and is well well known by other physicians who I asked about him. The whole process of receiving my prostate artery embolization was professional, thorough, and clearly presented. The facility is clean, modern, roomy and definitely high tech. The staff worked well together, were obviously very experienced and had great people skills. Dr. Nutting comes across as personable and down to earth. He has excellent technical and listening skills. What I would experience post op and the medications I would need were well explained and I had no surprises in my post op course. Too soon to tell the long term benefits but it sure seems like this was the best choice of treatment for my BPH.

Today was my one month check up with Dr. Nutting since my PAE procedure. What a world of difference in the past four weeks! The procedure went extremely well and everything with my BPH condition continues to improve way beyond my expectations. Dr. Nutting and his staff were terrific in the days leading up to my procedure, they made me as comfortable as possible the day of and were very thorough with post procedure follow up’s. I had an enlarged prostate( 150 grams) that was too big for the other procedures offered by my urologist . I was on Tamsulosin and Finasteride which worked pretty well but the side effects were bothersome, particularly the light headedness. I had the PAE procedure 4 months ago and have been able to get through the nights without getting up more than once. Yesterday, i booked a 7 hour flight and actually requested a window seat! If you’ve had BPH you’ll understand what I’m referring to.The procedure took less than an hour and the after effects were not noticeable except for the side effects from the post surgery antibiotics .I highly recommend Dr. Nutting and his team. This was a life changing experience for me.

Dr. Nutting and his team were excellent in taking the time in explaining all the medical protocols that I would be undergoing. Prior to the surgery, Dr. Nutting came by preop and thoroughly explained his part of the procedure as well. This reminded me of how medical practices used to be managed.
