Dr. Charles Schramm, MD

Dr Schram is wonderful. He takes time to understand and listen to concerns. However the office is quick to move to the next patient. And worst of all are repetitive issues with prescription refills. The professional filling them is extremely slow, inaccurate and despite the medical qualifications is more suited to ask “would you like fries with that” than about accuracy with medications. For example, after one visit, a medicine that I have to take nightly for the rest of my life was refilled with only 8 pills. In another incident I had a message on my prescription bottle to see the doctor before any further refills could be placed, and the visit I made to them just one week prior was ignored. In another incident my milligrams was changed and no explanation could be given after speaking with her. And the worst is having to follow up several times before routine refills are sent to pharmacy. I don’t need the aggravation. Goodbye to the practice.

Dr. Schramm is great. Very friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. In addition to having a regular check-up, I discussed a sports injury with him and he had some great recommendations for some additional strengthening exercises to help speed my recovery. His office was nice and clean and the staff was great. He saw me at my appointment time on the dot; no additional waiting. Patricia did my bloodwork and she was fantastic; didn't even feel the needle. Really enjoyed my conversation with her. Just an overall good experience. Definitely recommend Dr. Schramm and his office!

Mya and Chelsea were amazing! Maya was very pleasant, she gathered my information and was thorough with asking questions and hearing my health challenges. Chelsea checked me out and helped to troubleshoot my need for exact change. Mya was able to provide cash change at checkout out of her own pocket. I'm grateful for the extra length both went through to assist me.

My husband and I recently moved from California to Georgia and were in need of a primary care physician. It is always a little scary and hard to start all over with a new doctor, but we lucked out with Dr. Schramm. He is kind, caring, and compassionate, an excellent diagnostician, with a great bedside manner. We always feel better after visiting Dr. Schramm-he is so uplifting, and leaves us with a little joke that makes us chuckle! We never have a problem getting an office or telehealth appointment and that makes us feel confident that we have access to our doctor. The office has a lab right on site, so convenient, with a very experienced and painless lab tech. All of Dr. Schramm's staff are warm and welcoming, and feel like family. A special shout out to Cherice, office manager, who is always very helpful, and even notarized some paperwork for us recently. We feel truly blessed to have found such great care. Thank you Dr. Schramm and staff!!

My wife and I (and our now grown children who no longer live in Atlanta) have had the good fortunate to be patients of Dr. Schramm's for over 35 years. Even though we now have several new options closer to home for family medical care services we have made a conscientious decision to stay with Dr, Schramm and his team who have provided us with the highest level of quality care and personal attention. My most recent visit is just one example. I scheduled myself to have Dr. Schramm help determine what if any follow up might be needed to deal with my anxiety concerns. He was not only an attentive listener and supporter but he also chose to be proactive in checking to see if I had physical symptoms associated with my mental concerns. Not only did he determine that I had serious non symptomatic cardiac condition but he took it upon himself and took an extra hour to ensure that I was seen by a specialist that same afternoon. I have no doubt that Dr. Schramm prevented a family tragedy.

I consider my first visit, my initial phone call to the facility. Often times this can give you a glimpse into how you will be treated once in office. The physical visit to the office did not disappoint and aligned with my initial call. What's important to a patient is the receiving clear information, direction and be treated as if your health matters to them. I received this all along my first visit and call. Additionally, the facility is well maintained and gives you peace in knowing that all measures are being taken for your health safety. Dr. Shramma was personable, professional and had a great ear (listening carefully to everything I had to say or question). I am looking forward to making this my permanent place for my health care needs. If you do not have a PCP, I would guide you this way. Thank you all of the staff for your attentiveness.

Terrible experience. I waited got almost 35 minutes past my appointment time to be ushered into the examination room and another 20 to see the physician. The exam was brief and cursory. I was upsold on bloodwork (I was there for a physical, and granted, supposedly the insurance plan didn’t cover basic things like glucose). I had to wait 15 more minutes to have my blood drawn because the physician had forgotten to place the order! In the meantime, the office manager rudely suggested I come back another day for the bloodwork, even though I had already waited got close to 1.5 hours and had fasted! Fast forward—didn’t hear anything for a week. When I called about my lab results, they emailed them to me, indicating I’d get a call from the doctor. That call never came. However, a call came today with the office person saying my results were normal, even though that was not accurate. I do not recommend this practice!

Such an amazing doctor office! His nurse Anthony is very caring and easy to talk to. He answered all of my questions and was there for me the whole time.

Dr. Schramm has been our family physician forever. He is very knowledgable. His nurse, Anthony. He is very funny and very knowledgable!
