ER Dr
Asked questions about my shortness of breath and what may have caused it. He ordered everything that was needed to make sure I was good before discharged. Asked if I needed another treatment before leaving and gave me a prescription or prednisone for 4 days. No other urgent care can do what they did bas8ccally one stop shopping in under 4 hours weekday at around noon to 3pm.

Couldn't let the average stand.
From my own experience, the ED at Newport Hospital is the definition of hit or miss(having been both a patient and employee). Dr. Stengel is by far one of the best physicians at Newport Hospital in that he actually seems to care about patients and takes the time to make sure that they understand their diagnoses. When you contrast with the other physicians I have seen family members deal with that puts him far in the minority(a few examples were a hospitalist who neither myself, my mother, or the cna in the room could understand, and a 76! year old physician who... should probably retire...)

Took companion to Newport Hosp emergency on urging of eye doctor and after over 5 hours with Stengel NOTHING was done to alleviate condition: Nothing for the high blood pressure (his reply when questioned was that they don't medicate unless BP was some absurdly high reading, something like 250/150!). He had an MRI done yet were no neurologists there to read it and wanted to ship her off to Providence. Following week took her to 3 different neurologists (not in Newport), all said the MRI was not useable the way it was done. When Stengel gave her the disk he muttered something about it not being good. Stengel should have done something to bring her pressure down and advised her before having the MRI done that there was no one there qualified to evaluate it. Finally, the local Stop & Shop is cleaner than the Newport Emergency room area.
