Invalidating - rude - dissapointing
I'm having an issue that's debilitating. Su wouldn't allow me to finish explaining my symptoms. He looked at my x-rays and mris, and barely poked at the affected area, and said everything's fine. I asked him, 'is there anything you can see or think of that would explain my symptoms?' He looked me directly in the eyes, in a confrontation manner, and said 'no.' He then said some dribble about physical therapy (how can you recommend physical therapy, and types of physical therapy, when you're claiming nothing is wrong?) and left, leaving me visibly upset. Very unprofessional verging on inhumane. I have no history of hypochondria. My symptoms are uncommon, but not incredibly uncommon, especially for someone who's had surgery on this area. I don't know what's wrong, because I'm not a doctor, but I do know my symptoms are real. I don't appreciate being abused by someone who's being paid to help me. I really feel like he's stuck in the 1950s and convinced that I have a case of 'hysteria.'

This was the first time my injury had been described to me in detail with a model. My arthritis was explained to me clearly where it was. I was given a prescription for a 1 pill a day for inflammation. Dr. Su was friendly and excellent with clarification.
