I have nothing but praises for Dr Blivaiss and the team! Dr Blivaiss is very calm, confident and assertive and Im glad I had her because I was a nervous wreck. When I first met her, I felt reassured that Im in good hands. My kind of surgery is not usually done on the weekends but she advocated for me to get it asap and Thats what I needed. I really felt like an important person. On the day of surgery, she greeted me at the OR, she was relaxed and that made me relaxed too. They asked me what music I listen to and they played it for me. Next thing I know, its over. My incisions are beautiful, the sites are cleverly selected that if there will be scars, it will be barely noticeable. This team really took good care of me from the time I came in to the ED, to all the tests I went through, my admission, the surgery, Pacu, 4North, transporters, Kitchen aides, Pa’s, Nurses, PCA’s..I felt very well taken care of and I should know because I am in the healthcare field!

Just wanted to share my personal experience and I have to say it was outstanding! From the first moment I met with Dr. Blivaiss she was very knowledgeable made me feel comfortable and giving that sense of knowing everything will be ok . I thanked the Dr and her surgical team for the amazing job they did and if anyone were to need a surgeon to reach out to Dr. Blivaiss she is just great ! Thank you again .

Dr Chava is an excellent , know and caring surgeon.She managed my Gallbladder surgery from a war zone - I texted her and she “ got on my case” immediately and made sure I had her senior surgeon Dr Haller ( the best) actually do my case - she was in constant communication with me and my partner every step of the way .I highly recommend her !!

I cannot say enough about Dr. Blivaiss. From our first meeting in the Emergency Room to my post operative check up she has been great. She is very knowledgeable, informative, friendly, and very caring. I highly recommend her.

I suffer from HS for 6 years now being treated by many different doctors but the condition would just keep getting worse I went to the ER one day with a very bad flare up crying from the pain needing a drainage and that's when I met her. From the moment we met you could tell she truly cared about her patients that she wasn't just doing this for the money she treated me with love and care so I could be in the best conditions possible and referred me to the right specialist I needed to see instead of just allowing me to stay like this so she could keep cutting me open. I really cant express how greatful I am that I had met her that night. She really was a guardian angel sent to help her patients and I couldn't recomend her enough.

Dr. Chava is the best surgeon there is. I had a very painful issue dr chava came to me and I was in a surgery room within hours. I felt like she took it very personal and gave me attention and comfort. I’m usually the person that hates the ER ROOM and nurses when they don’t take my problem personal and I’m just a number. But she saved me. I don’t wish this on anyone but if god forbid you do need a procedure I highly recommend Dr. Chava.

New doctors could learn a thing or two about bedside manner from this warm, welcoming, and competent doctor. My husband had a digestive issue that provided us with a frightening health experience; however, our fears were mitigated by Dr. Blivaiss' expertise at diagnosis and treatment. Not only was my husband's treatment swift and spot-on; it was done with care and commitment that, for us, has been unmatched by any other doctor we've experienced. Truly. Dr. Blivaiss is a great surgeon! I recently had an umbilical hernia and my gynecologist recommended this practice. I called and Lilian in the office kindly scheduled an appointment with Dr Blivaiss right away because I was in pain. When I met with Dr. Blivaiss she confirmed my hernia and that I needed surgery. I felt very confident in her hands and her bedside manner made me feel safe. Aida, the surgical coordinator, walked me through everything I needed to know pre and post surgical. Unfortunately, I needed to have the surgery sooner. I called Dr Blivaiss on her cell and she answered immediately and told me to go the ER. She performed the surgery right away. It went well and I’m recovering. I highly recommend Dr. Blivaiss because of her skill as a surgeon, her attentiveness, and her bedside manner. The staff at the practice as equally as great and took good care of me!
