Dr. Chaya Krishnamurthy, MD

I mentiioned about being deferred from donating blood due to low hemoglobin. Dr Krishnamurthy was concerned and ordered labs to find out my iron levels were low.

Dr. Krishnamurthy is amazing. She doesn't just treat me like a patient, she treats me like a friend. She is kind, professional and takes her time with me. I never feel rushed. Even this last appointment where I had written. Down the wrong time and showed up for my appointment 3 hours late. She still fit me in. Didn't make me feel worse than I already did an took just as much time with me as she would have if I had been to my regularly scheduled appointment time. She has treated me for Chrons disease which she was able to help me get into remission for the last 4 years!

She has exceptional communication skills. Her innate kindness and caring are always evident in her approach to my conditions. She is the finest physician I have had in the past 50 years. I can trust her implicitly.

Dr. Krishnamurthy perforated my esophagus during a balloon stretching of my esophageal ring. This is a major emergency as anything exiting the esophagus can require major, major emergency surgery. She is a nice doctor but wow, this was a simple routine procedure and I question her competence. I spent 6 days in the hospital with a feeding tube. It was touch and go. This could have been fatal. Fortunately the cardiothoracic surgeon they found at 10 pm on a Friday night made a conservative decision so I avoided having the complicated surgery.

Dr. Krishnamurthy was skilled, knowledgeable, kind, and efficient.

Dr. Krishnamurthy is an excellent gastroenterologist! She has amazing bedside manner, explains things thoroughly and listens to your concerns. She does not dismiss anything you say. She is compassionate, has empathy and is very intelligent. I had previously seen another gi physician who had dismissed my abdominal pain and was quite frankly rude. I requested to change doctors. Thank heavens I was referred to Dr. Krishnamurthy. She first tried ruling things out, then as I worsened, she found that I had pancreatitis caused by celiac disease which was never checked for previously. My abdominal pain has significantly improved since seeing her and she continues to provide me with amazing care and follow up visits. She is fantastic in every way and I will be forever grateful for her. Kristy M.

She took the time to answer my questions and I truly felt I was in the best hands possible. My experience with her was positive from start to finish. I was very pleased with Dr Krishnamurthy. I don’t like changes and my anxieties flare, she made me feel very relaxed and answered any questions I may have had. The entire setting with the Dr. and staff was the best I have ever encountered, very warm feeling was present. Dr. Krishnamurthy was new for me, she will definitely be my forever choice now. Having my first colonoscopy could not have gone smoother. The staff explained every step of what to expect and ensured I was comfortable. The prep was easy to follow and I had no pain or discomfort at all. Dr Krishnamurthy truly cares about her patients and has a wonderful bedside manner. Highly recommend!!!

I had a colonoscopy with Dr. Krishnamurthy which went smoothly and she was lovely. I went back to her several months later with severe intestinal bleeding, in severe pain, she listened and was very thoughtful in her care with my visit. I was sent out for labs, which I did immediately and I never heard from her again. I called her office and left messages, I called the lab who also told me she was not responding to their inquiries regarding my lab that was ordered incorrectly. Once I finally got a hold of her assistant 2 weeks later, the assistant was unprofessional and took no accountability for the complete dismissal and lack of my care. I told her the lab also informed me the Dr office was not responsive, she said "Well, you can believe what you want to believe". Considering they were ignoring my calls, I never got results , and the lab also said they called her office for 7 days with no response, I would not trust this office and I would never refer anyone to this Dr.
