Needs to stop accepting new patients
We used to love Dr. Griffin, we even followed her from her previous practice. However, the last couple of years the care went from quality to quantity. And, only some patients could get in for care. Almost like they have a V.I.P. list. My wife was able to get in for a well care appointment within 6 weeks from the time she called (she always got in timely). I then called and was told 7 months. I had been trying for over a year to get in and could never get a timely appointment. My wife always received timely appointments. We changed doctors, and now have another PCP where we can BOTH receive very good care in a timely manner. Our new doctor was able to get us in timely, which was a very good thing.

Can’t get a timely Appointment
I simply have not been able to schedule a timely appointment with Dr Griffin or her “urgent care” associate doctor. Last three times I’ve called with a sinus infection and then muscle spasms the doctor was scheduling weeks out and the urgent care doctor was out of the office for days. The office advice was go to an urgent care facility. Why have a primary care doctor if you can never receive treatment from them?

I’ve been seeing Dr. Griffin for 3 years. She’s a wonderful doctor. I’m a BIPOC trans person. She is very knowledgeable about gender affirming care and has always made me feel very comfortable. So many of my queer friends see Dr. Griffin. No seriously, like 5 of my queer friends are also her patients. If you’re looking for a doctor that is queer-friendly look no further. I got COVID-19 for the first time this year and I saw Dr. Griffin right afterwards. I was still not feeling well and I was an emotional mess. She was so kind and understanding. I’ll never forget how much better I felt after leaving my appointment. Very grateful to have been a patient of Dr. Griffin’s! I’m sad I’ll be leaving Tulsa and I can’t take her with me!

She actually cares about me.
Whenever I visit Dr. Griffin I feel like she always has my best interest in her mind. She is knowledgeable & if she doesn't know about something she will consult with one of her colleagues immediately. I never wait a long time, her staff is friendly & helpful. When she had to move to a new office I started driving an extra 15 miles to see her. My wife & I love Dr. Griffin & will stick with her for a long time to come.

Dr. Griffin made it clear from day one that her goal was to keep me healthy. That was 3 years ago and she has been on top of every vaccine, every diagnostic and follow-up test, and every prescription that I need to keep me healthy. I am in my 60s and am very pleased with her evaluation of what I need to keep me healthy. My husband has recently started seeing her as his primary health provider and he is happy he did. She got him through a nasty spider bite.

I've been a patient of Dr. Griffin's for many years, from Utica Park to OSU. I doubt that I'm an easy patient...I deal with autoimmune issues, which are a neverending rollercoaster ride, sometimes sending my health off on some wild tangents. Dr. G is always on top of research, listens to my concerns, takes insurance/$$$ into consideration when prescribing, and tells it like it is without being a jerk. Best of all, she's the number one cheerleader for your health. Her number one concern is to see you at your best. She has worked tirelessly to keep me vertical, and I appreciate her more than I can express. She has taught me the importance of having a doctor you trust, and to always remember that they can't read your mind...you have to be able to communicate and be an active participant in your care plan to get the best care possible.

As a current patient of Dr Griffin with several current health issues going on. Dr Griffin is always on top of things. She is always thorough, very personable, always willing to get me in when needed. Dr Griffins staff is just as amazing. I always gets an answer in a very timely manner, very friendly, and I have never had an issue the couple years I’ve been a patient there. I highly recommend Dr Griffin!

I would highly recommend Dr. Griffin. She always listens intently to the issue at hand and I never feel as if I'm being rushed. She is very thorough and empathetic. She asks many follow-up questions and genuinely seems interested in getting to the root of the problem. No one enjoys going to the doctor, but if you have to see one, Dr. Griffin won't disappoint.

I've had ongoing health issues for a year now. Dr. Griffin is one of the few doctors I've seen in Tulsa that has truly cared about hearing my story and working with me on getting well. I never feel rushed through an appointment. I would recommend her to anyone.

My mother came to you because she suffers from ruptured disc scoliosis, bone spurs and nerve damage because of these issues and suffers greatly from Pain and needs surgery. Tell me why you sent her away until she can get to the pain management doctor that couldn't get her in for several months and you told her to take over the counter pain medication because you don't believe in prescribing pain medication? I want to know from you why you did this? Im mad as hell??

Dr. Griffin is the sweetest, most companionate and attentive doctor I have even seen. My husband and I had the best experience with her, and look forward to being patients of hers for years to come! These days it's hard to find doctors that don't rush you in and out of the office, so we were more than pleased when we met her!!

Every single visit I had with her, one of the first things out of her mouth were I don't prescribe diet pills.' I know I am fat, but i am happy with who I am. I never asked for the diet pills. I did not appreciate her condescending attitude that because she was skinny she was better than me. the reality is that I am just as grand as she is.

I chose Dr. Griffin as a primary when I found out I was pregnant. I wanted a dr that could see my whole family and a dr that we all love and trust and that is exactly what we got! She is more than we ever could have hoped for! I didn't know I could love and trust a dr as much as I do her. She is caring and sweet, listens to your problems, and works with you to make sure you are getting what you need. She is AMAZING and my mom, both my sisters, and my nephew have since started seeing her as well
