Dr. Chhavi Chadha, MD

Dr. Chada is an amazing provider! She cares about her patients and goes above and beyond to help them. She listens, processes and acts in your best interest!

I saw Dr Chhavi Chadha in 2022, and since then I have been very reluctant to see any doctor in general. She didn't listen, she misgendered me in her paperwork. It's absurd someone in her career could be so unprofessional when dealing with patients.

I have been seeing Dr Chadha for a little over 2 years now for hypothyroidism. At first, she seemed to listen and really care about my symptoms. The last visit I had was this summer (June 2022), when I told her about the hormonal problems that I had been having. She said, "if you're menstruating then your hormones are normal". She said this without any lab work to back it up. Anyone who knows the tiniest bit about hormones and a woman's cycle knows this isn't true. I recently found a doctor who actually tested my hormones and come to find out, I do have a pretty significant imbalance between estrogen and progesterone as well as severely low DHEA. Long story short, but I have found a new doctor who will actually listen and test before diagnosing (or not diagnosing in my case). Look elsewhere, women. We deserve better.

I was not satisfied with my care with Dr. Chadha. She largely dismissed my concerns and didn't really listen to what I was saying--she kept asking me the same information over and over again, and I even saw in my online notes later that she wrote down some information wrong. I had to go through some lab testing and she ordered the tests incorrectly multiple times--I went into the lab a total of three times and would have had to gone two more times if a lab technician wasn't willing to do an unordered but standard test, and then if I hadn't called to ensure the correct tests were ordered another time. She also had a pretty unprofessional encounter while on my video call.
