Dr. Ching Reisig, MD

I’m sorry to report that I’ve been assigned Dr. Reisig three times over three years and none were positive. The first time, my PCP intervened to get her removed from my case. Dr. Reisig was derisive of specialists who consulted, impatient, and didn’t seem to hear what I was telling her. She insisted I be released too early which necessitated the ER and admittance again. She trained in excellent hospitals, but I don’t trust her judgement. Hopefully I won’t need to be hospitalized again, but will go to a larger teaching hospital if necessary.

This physician is unprofessional and fails to meet family centered care goals. She interrupts frequently, challenges family members, and insults them when questions are asked. She does not seem knowledgeable about looking at the big picture and argues when presenting requests for consults or communicating concerns. She contradicted herself frequently. I tried working with her but family members witnessed her argumentative behavior on 2 occasions now. I don't think she was having a bad day. I think she should consider an alternate career. She should be embarrassed for herself, but she seemed ultimately clueless about her condescending nature and closed off to hearing anything other than what she thinks. Her argumentative nature made me physically sick for 2 days. I should be focused on my family member not her unprofessional behavior. Big Ego. Unprofessional. Weak knowledge. Poor collaboration. Rude.
