Due to this video visit being an annual follow up and review of MRI's, there was not much that Dr. Patil could discuss and recommend since ihe indicated that the MRI images showed that there was not further regrowth of th tumor after the successful operation in May 2021.

The physician was excellent, it is just that he disagreed with the referring neurologist's diagnosis. So I was very confused. However, he offered to followup with the referring neurologist. We hope to make that happen this week.

Dr. Patil is an outstanding doctor! He's a great listener, explains things clearly with as little or much detail that the patient wants, and offers all potential options to address the patient's problem, including pros, cons, doctor recommendations with explanations. Dr Patil showed great compassion and kindness to me as a patient ever since after he performed my brain tumor removal back in 2021.

My MRI report had listed (3) "problems". In Dr's view, none of them were issues, which was great news. But I still wished I could have had him show me my MRI with him - even though I know that may take a bit more time. Maybe that would have happened but cut short due to later arrival? I dont know.....or because he found none of the problems on report founded and not worth the time. Thats the only thing I wish had been done differently. Dr. Patil removed a giant tumor from my pituitary. It was a miracle surgery and 100% of my eyesight returned. Recovery was fast. Dr. Patil was efficient, courteous and I will be always grateful.

I was fortunate enough to find Dr. Patil, when I needed brain surgery. He is one of the neurosurgeons at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Brain surgery is scary to contemplate, but after my initial consultation with Dr. Patil, I knew I was in safe hands. The procedure took 4-5 hours. Dr. Patil served as lead surgeon of a team consisting of assistant surgeons, anesthetists, nurses and technicians. I expected a scar but no scar is visible. I was released after only two nights. Dr. Patil ensured I received nurse's visits and physiotherapy at home. I was provided some painkillers, but did not need them. As soon as I was being driven home by my wife, I knew that all the vision problems I had been experiencing were gone. The neurosurgery staff at Cedar Sinai, surgeons, nurses, technicians and everyone else, are friendly and super-efficient. I greatly admire Dr. Patil, on whose skill my vision and indeed my life depended, yet he made it all seem easy.

I am a patient of Dr Patil, he is one of the best Doctors I. His knowledge, his bed side manners , his patience and above all the best neurosurgeon. I did recommend Dr Patil to a few people and they came and thanked me to have recommended such an amazing Doctor.
