Wait times to see the Dr
My last visit was not the best when scheduled to see Dr. Raj. I waited 2 hrs and was always told I was next and never got to see her. I had to leave due to getting my kids on time and was not happy I had my blood drawn for nothing. The wait room was crowded and every room there had someone waiting it in. The dr should have 1 day atleast to focus on patients in the office and not at the hospital. Quality over quantity.

Never less than 1 hour behind schedule
I have never been to that office and had to wait less than an hour. And I am on time. They don’t even acknowledge it. Not even a “sorry she is running behind.” And that’s when she’s running NINETY MINUTES behind. Just so disrespectful. You will show up on time for a 30 minute appointment and be there 2 hours. There is really no reason to go there just to be treated like you showed up to a walk-in urgent care clinic. No stars. Go elsewhere. (Also I don’t care if you want to use paper files in this day and age but to have piles of them strewn around just adds to the overall disorganization.)

Grateful for Dr. Rajagopal and Her Staff – Feb 21, 2020

Raj is the most sensitive and compassionite oncologist. She gets her point across in a very empathetic yet reasonable manner. I wanted to stop chemo after the 4th cycle but she worked with me and talked it through but always stood her ground. I completed the 5th and 6th rounds as well as all the radiation over 16 years ago, which I completely attribute to Raj's will to make it happen!

Hello Dr. Rajagopal, I really appreciate the visit I had with you on August 10. My friend, Jan and I are really interested in receiving more information on the procedure and treatment you recommend to treat my kind of uterine cancer. I will be calling your office, Monday morning, to schedule an appointment with you to further discuss treatment. I can visit you in Olney or in Rockville. I am placing a call to Dr. Steren's office. I need medical advise based on my recent surgery. Lois Vuolo

Dr Rajagopal and her staff are excellent. She is a genuinely caring professional who works tirelessly for her patients. She treated my wife for her lymphoma and, when I was diagnosed with polycythemia by my primary care physician, I became her patient as well. In my case I require monthly blood work by her staff. At this point, Dr Rajagopal's staff is like family to us. I cannot recommend her any more highly. Great care by wonderfully compassionate people.

Dr. Raj first gave me a general overview of why things happen as they do, then explained in detail my specific situation. She made me fee comfortable and answered all my questions. Best part...she gave me a hug when I left. You don't get that kind of caring and compassion very often in the medical field these days.

Always when I go and see her I have to wait at least 3 to 4 HOURS, and the personal in there are really awful, I never had a good experience with them, for me they are very unrespected, and if you ask about how long you going to be waiting they never respond
