Dr. Christian Baker, MD

I'm new to Dr. Baker's practice after my prior provider retired. I'm am older in age and have existing medical issues, so I was somewhat wary of finding a new physician who would take the time to listen and address my issues. Dr. Baker, from my first visit, was easy to communicate with and was very patient in reviewing my medical conditions.

He would not refer me to a neurologist and said, “Let’s wait…” Wouldn’t discuss my fibromyalgia or neuropathy & discounted my afib episodes as “mild” even though cardiologist said “they were serious.”

Dr baker is the best doctor I ever had he listens to me and is very kind and he answers all my questions I am glad I found him I can’t imagine not seeing him for my doctor ??

Asked for documentation of my diagnosis so I could request reasonable accommodations from my employer. Dr. Baker refused citing an increase in my medication - stating that he wanted my to stick it out and let the medication work. I made it clear that I would not be able to continue working with out accommodations and requested a referral to a specialist. The referral was not made until several months later. By that time I had to quit my job because I was not able to work without accommodations. Needless to say, Dr Baker is no longer my doctor and I find his care to have been inadequate and irresponsible.

I have only seen him once. I an a nurse & I am very particular about which doctors I see. I have a complicated medical history. He was very patient & listened to everything that I had to say. I read the notes on the My Chart afterward & was pleased to see that he had recorded everything. I think that I will be using him for years to come.
