Professional, Knowledgeable, Caring Physiciian
Dr. Kaunzinger always gives 110%;. He listens to patients' concerns and asks good questions as well. He is thorough and prescribes appropriate testing or scans as needed. Dr. Kaunzinger treats the "whole" patient (both the physical and emotional facets of the individual). He is energetic and has a good sense of humor, which makes visiting him a pleasure. Dr. Kaunzinger is patient and kind with adult patients of all ages. Top notch! The nurses and check in/check out staff are helpful and friendly, too. A+

Dr. Kaunzinger is an amazing internist. He is compassionate and takes his time to listen to you. He doesn’t rush you out of the visit. He has many years of experience and truly cares. For people who complain that they can not get into seeing him, they always offer you another doctor in the practice to see for an urgent visit. Be patient. This is how medicine is now and even though you may not like the process, it is not the doctors’ faults. I will personally stay with the group because they work IN the hospital and when you get sick and your put IN the hospital, one of the doctors from the group is going to see you. That is a very important factor to consider when choosing a primary care doctor!

Dr. Kaunzinger is an excellent doctor. He takes time to listen and never rushes you on your appointment. The reason I am giving him a 1 star rating is because of the office staff. Before the practice moved to Hope Tower there was never a problem with the office staff. Since they moved and now there is a completely new staff they never relay any messages to him that you need him to call back. Recenty I have had blood work done and unfortunately I missed two of his calls but I replied to both by leaving a voice mail message to call me back. I never go another call back. I waited a week and then called again, leaving a message in the morning and then a 2nd message in the afternoon and again I did not receive a call back. This is the worst office staff that I have ever had the "pleasure" of dealing with. They are horrible. I guess that the name "Hope Tower" means that when you call and request a call back from your doctor you can only "Hope" that he will get the message and call.
