Dr. Christiana Kopf, MD

This doctor berated me for being a 28yo unwed celibate person trying to get off birth control. NEARLY refused to remove my IUD. Then my iud was stuck and she told me she had weekend plans and wasn’t gonna go to surgery so she ripped it out. I bled for days. Say more than any previous iud swap. I also had told her I would like a mammogram because I have what I am praying…are recurrent breast cysts. She refused because no one in my family has died of cancer that I know of. She sucks honestly. There’s no creative way to put it.

I came to Dr. Kopf for an endometriosis diagnosis seeing as I've had abnormal periods for 20 years and endometriosis in my family. First off, it was apparent she hadn't looked at my chart at all prior to seeing me and asked me more than once to essentially diagnose myself. When I expressed my concerns, she stated that heavy, abnormal, and irregular periods are NOT symptoms of endometriosis and said my previous diagnosis of endometrial polyps (followed by a removal procedure) was inaccurate and that I didn't have polyps, solely on speculation as she did not even do an exam. I'm also suffering from what I believe is a urethral prolapse and my GP told me Dr. Kopf would be able to evaluate and diagnose it for me but after asking multiple times and finally getting her to take a look, she said she didn't know what was wrong but that they treat symptoms only and that she didn't know if the symptoms I described were correlated. I'm not sure how a gyno specialist is so uneducated in gynecology.

Would not recommend this office! Had an appt with them and was 12 minutes late. I ran into a heavy traffic jam on my way to appt. I called to let them know I would be 10-15 minutes late and was told it shouldn't be a problem. So I continued hurrying to the appt. Once at the office, was told Dr. Kopf would not see me as they have a 10 minute late policy and I had to reschedule. Needless to say, I did not reschedule with this office. After reading these reviews, I'm glad about that decision

Dr. Kopfis highly knowledgeable and helpful. She is professional and will ensure all of your questions are answered. She provides quick responses to any questions on myhealth online. She truly cares about what she does and her patients' well being. Her office staff is outstanding. I highly recommend seeing her if she is still accepting new patients.

Not happy w/this doctor, very rough, will not return.

This Dr was on call at Sutter General high risk labor and delivery this past weekend when my daughter was admitted for induction of her dead fetus. This Dr was cruel, non compassionate and exceeding rough during her exam. She needs to leave this profession.
