World-Class Care
Dr. Allen and her team has been terrific from day one. She offers kind, compassionate care, taking her time to make sure you don't feel like just another number in a long line of patients. She listens to what is bothering you without being dismissive. She is thorough in her examinations and diagnosis. She offers multiple treatment options based on your needs, capabilities and limitations. Dr. Allen will advocate for you, verify and double check your test results while utilizing her years of experience to offer her own interpretation of them. I work in healthcare along side many Doctors. I can honestly say Dr. Allen is one of the best Doctors I've come across as a patient or colleague. I highly recommend her and her staff to not just get you feeling better, but to get you to where you need to be longterm.

Very professional honest and understanding
I found Dr. Allen by researching orthopedic surgeon and found her. I immediately contacted her office and was greeted by her staff, after explaining my situation I was contacted by Dr. Allen nurse who was very knowledgeable and understanding and listened to my concerns regarding my pain. She told me that she would speak to Dr. Allen and get back to me with answers. Within 2 hrs I received a call back from the nurse stating that the Dr would like to see me that Monday.I got to the appointment and was went into the back room to be evaluated by Dr. Allen‘s APRN. After the evaluation, Dr. Allen herself came in to speak with me and I immediately felt at ease and safe with her and she explained everything to me in detail regarding my MRI and my x-rays and the damage that was done in my shoulder. When everything was said and done. I left that appointment feeling like someone actually was going to help me.

Left ACL Surgery and Recovery
Dr. Allen and her staff were world class. They advocated for and supported me from the day of my diagnosis to “graduation” over a year later. She and her team were kind and patient answering questions and making sure I received the best recovery and PT possible. I feel very lucky to have been Dr. Allen’s patient. I have full confidence in my knee and am back to doing all the activities I enjoy.

I had surgery on my right leg and Dr. Allen participated in my surgery. Everything came out excellent! I’m very happy because I spent 7 years with my leg bended. Thank you so much Dr. Allen for what you did for me and for the treatment you gave me. God bless you.

Bad experience from beginning to end
I have never left a bad review for anything but I feel compelled to share my experience. My child tore her ACL and Dr. Allen came highly recommended. From the beginning Dr. Allen was difficult but I overlooked bedside manner for surgical skills. She was rude , dismissive and deferred everything to her staff. Although her underlings were capable it was clear that they were stressed and afraid. Recovery was not smooth and an infection occurred months afterwards and because Dr. Allen was not available it developed into a serious situation. Almost 2 years later my child still has pain and is limited in her activity despite physical therapy and a commitment to fitness. I would not recommend this surgeon to anyone.

Dr. Allen did the ACL reconstruction surgery on my left knee. All pre-op and post-op visits were great, she explained almost everything and also patiently answered all my questions and concerns, face to face or through my chart.

We trust Dr. Allen in her diagnostic and treatment assessments of our daughter's soccer-related injuries. She and her staff carefully assess the conditions presented and approach treatment conservatively, which we fully appreciate. She is very engaging, open to discussing issues and available for questions and concerns outside of scheduled appointments. We highly recommend her!

Dr. Allen is one of the finest physicians I've come across. Not only did she do a perfect ACL reconstruction on my 'older' non-athletically inclined knee (I was 55 at the time) but her level of follow up was amazing. She listens (really), she addresses every concern and has a great staff too. If you have a knee issue, this is absolutely the person to see.

Dr. Allen and her team were amazing. Very professional and personable, and incredibly responsive via phone and email. Dr. Allen really took the time to help me understand my treatment options and recovery process. She saw me through two surgeries and I wouldn't think of going to anyone else for orthopedic issues.

Dr Allen has performed three surgeries on my knee. (The frequency being reflective of me, definitely not reflective of her work) She has saved my employment 3 times now, as I have a physical job which requires me to be very mobile. If - heaven forbid - I need a 4th, Dr Allen will be who I want doing it. It's important to keep in mind, though, that she can only perform the surgery. After that the recovery is going to be in your own hands and will depend on how much work you put into rehab

The worst bedside manners, poor communication about treatment (was told I didn't need another brace but then was lectured when I didn't get it), long-wait times, and was told I would not recover (horrible experience as a patient). I heard she was one of the best and maybe I caught her on a REALLY bad day but lesson learned to ALWAYS CLARIFY treatment since now I am behind recovery. Also, be FAST about asking your questions since she will just leave you in the room when she is behind schedule.
