Unpleasant and rude
This was my first visit with Dr. Hui and I left feeling worse than I arrived. She has a very cold demeanor and seems to lack empathy. Mental health providers should feel like a partner rather than a headmistress. I will not return.

I have been a patient of dr Hui for seven years. I have multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, cancer, and bipolar depression. She has kept me on the right meds for all eight years and is on tap for me by phone at all times. I have been able to function totally normally all eight years. I recommend her!

Very cold and disinterested. Why she is a mental health provider I have no idea. I was rather amazed at her coldness. Trust me...see someone else.

I met Dr Hui approximately 3 years ago. I must admit that I am not the easiest patient to deal with. I am totally convinced that Dr Hui knows her craft very well. Very proficient. If you want to move forward. If you are working towards results, she’s that Dr. I would gladly recommend Dr Hui to a friend if they found themselves in need of this type of care.

I went to Dr. Hui for anxiety that is severe. My physician thought I should talk about it. UCLA called me and said I had a choice of two. Not knowing them I chose her. I was 20 mi utes early. I sat and sat . Fifteen minutes late she came out , No smile, handshake ... She turned and I followed her down two halls to a small office. I sat in a chair on one wall and she sat at her computer with her back to me. 20 minutes later we were done!! She charged my insurance 775.00 !! For 20 minutes!!

This doctor needs to learn how to be friendlier with patients and their caregivers. She does not exude any warmth. While she may be highly educated, maybe some customer service lessons would be helpful.

Dr. Hui has been treating my mother who has moderate dementia. She goes to my mother's assisted living facility to treat her as my mother is immobile. She is a great geriatric psychiatrist, patient with my mother who is very difficult, and returns my phone calls promptly as well as keeping my mother's primary doctor in the loop. I would highly recommend her to treat anyone with psychiatric illness.
