Dr. Christina Martin, MD

I would give 0 stars if possible. Dr. Martin humiliated and discriminated my deaf wife at her appointment today. My wife told her she was having trouble hearing her. Dr. Martin's response is that her hearing aides must not be working very good. My wife asked if she could lower her mask since she reads lips. My wife kindly asked if that was her way of asking her to find a new doctor. The Dr. then told her that she didn't want to get sick and that if my wife couldn't hear her she needed a new doctor. My wife was driven to tears at the doctors by this unkind Dr. In the four years she has been struggling with her hearing loss she has never been this humiliated or discriminated against in all that time. You have been warned,

Dr. Martin is very tentative, takes the time to listen and answer questions, explain any findings and recommend treatment. She is very personal and easy to talk to. She's very knowledgeable in her field. Always on time appointments, very efficient never feel rushed. Her team is incredible!

She is a fantastic doctor. I am so sorry she has left Healthy Life Family Medicine. Would love to know what clinic she is working at now.

She was rude, yelled at me and did not even prescribe blood sugar test kit knowing my A1c was high. When she finally prescribed it after my asking for it over and over, it took her office two weeks! Then they would not take care of proper paperwork for the refill.

She is an amazing doctor! Listens to what you have to say and never rushes you! So sorry to hear she left Healthy Family!

Dr Martin always treats us with the utmost respect. She is very easy to talk to and always listens to our concerns and addresses them. She is extremely competent along with having a wonderful personality in relating to her patients.

a week ago If you have any type of serious injury, DO NOT GO HERE! The Mrs. And I have been patients here for around 10 yrs. Have our yearly checks done here and such. Now, year 2020. Crappy year to start with but we make it just that much more by my wife falling and seriously injuring herself. When I dialed 911, she could clearly look at the bottom of her foot as she broke her ankle that badly. Once she gets out of the hospital, we set the appointment for her after care. Now im not in the medical profession, nor have we ever had to deal with an injury of this degree. The hospital only gave her enough pain meds for a few days. At the hospital, she had a fixator installed to immobilize her foot to heal. First contact with Dr. Martin, and her first words are "we need to ween you off those pills." So we start playing with the cocktail to get it right for her needs. Now the next time we need to do a refill, she tells us its for 2 weeks but actual is 10 days so now she is going 2 - 4

Feel very fortunate to have found such a such a professional and compassionate doctor In Dr. Christina Martin. She is one who listens and is quick to assess medical conditions while quickly putting an action plan into effect. Her staff is also to be commended for their professional ability to recognize, prioritize and follow up on patient medical issues and concerns. Dr Martin, is amazing. and the sweetest person ever, very caring, and a good listener. I feel very comfortable with her. I recommend her to anyone who is looking for a Provider. Dr Martin, your the best, thank you for all you do,!

This was my very first visit to Dr. Martin, and I would definitely recommend anyone to have her as their doctor. As she walked into the room I felt a sense of comfort, and she delt with me as though she knew me before... very accommodating, pleasant and easy to talk to doctor. Her explanation and suggestions about my issue were well explained which made me leave her office quite satisfied!

I have been seeing Dr. Martin for six years now, and she's just as wonderful today as she was the day I met her. She truly listens to you, walks you through options, and doesn't rush you. Yes, you might have to wait a bit to see her, but remember that she'll take just as long as needed with you as she does with others. She's been spot on every single time with me, is incredibly supportive, and she just is truly a phenomenal physician!

dr.martin is a very caring and compassionate doctor. she listens to your concerns and when doing referrals sends you to the best doctors.I am a new patient and could not have got a better doctor, she is great! I am so glad that I found her!

Wonderful !! She has been my dad's doctor for over a year now and has always treated him with respect and compassion (86 years old with multiple medical problems). She listens and addresses each of his concerns and makes him feel much better overall.

She has been my famiky dr for 4 years. Very compassionate. Understaning. Gives grate hugs. Great bed side matters. She sent me to the hospital one time because my blood pressure and blood sugar was very low. Called me herself to check on me. I really appreciated that. Best Doctor ever. I have referred 4 people to her. They love her too. Cant find a better dr. She takes time with you doesnt rush. Very caring dr.

She is very warm and easy to talk to, and I've been very happy with all her referrals. Very comfortable and knowledgeable. It was hard to leave my old doctor in San Diego but now I feel just as comfortable here.

Excellent caring doctor working at substandard practice. Office staff has difficulty with scheduling appointments, taking insurance information (so you will be asked every time), and be prepared to wait indefinitely even if you manage to schedule an appointment. Also staring at the family pictures while your waiting gets very old...
