Dr. Christina Ramgoolam, DO

She was very rude and overlooked examining me for my main complaint until I brought it up again. She contradicted herself. Will not be seeing her again. No wonder why she had appointments available...

I thought the Dr. would be good but after a few visits there was an obvious disinterest on her part. How can you say lifting one leg and shaking it side to side a little is therapy for a lower back issue. I was repeatedly urged by her staff to make her office my primary, somewhat pressuring. I just got the impression this office was just another long island patient churn concern. I self treated with high doses of inflamatories and resolved my lower back problem.

I have been with her for about 4 years now and she is more about herself than anything. She will ask you if want to go for all these tests and she doesn't actually read the results. The straw that broke the camels back was when she sent me for annual CT scan of my chest and the radiologist noticed a thickening of the adrenal glands and cysts on my pancreas. I read my report as always I go through my lab results myself and read all of this. She has her nurse call me to tell me everything is all good. I asked the nurse what about the Thickening of the adrenal glands, she had to bring up the results and was like oh I have to ask her about it. When the doctor finally called me herself she made all kinds of excuses why she didn't see it the best was telling me it was at the bottom of the report. I could believe what she was saying, basically if the result wasn't at the top of the report she wasn't going to read the whole report. was also told by someone else not to see her.

I have been a patient for a couple of years now. As always, she was thorough, gentle and caring throughout my recent visit. She took the time required to properly address the visit, listened well and responded completely to questions. I am grateful that she stays up to date on education and is willing to try new approaches to help my conditions. She offered concrete suggestions to alleviate issues between office visits. She seems to be particularly talented with OMM treatment, and that has been what has made the most difference in my day-to-day health and pain management. As a bonus, she is also a well balanced general practitioner, so having her as my primary care doctor as well as specialist has greatly simplified my healthcare and referral process. I am picky, and I am highly satisfied with this practitioner. I feel like she truly cares about being the best doctor she can be for her patients.

I always feel at ease at my appointments with Dr. Ramgoolam. I trust that she will always hear my concerns and have answers for them.

Dr. Ramgoolan is terrific!! I was sad when my previous doctor left the practice, but was very happy with Dr Ramgoolan. She is professional, personable, and knowledgeable and answered all my questions thoroughly.

I like that Dr. Ramgoolam does not believe in ordering unnecessary tests. She is thoughtful about what she prescribes and ensures that her practice suits my needs. She takes the appropriate amount of time for an exam and does not rush.

Dr. Ramgoolam was very thorough, understanding and knowledgeable. She has an excellent clinical acumen and made me feel very comfortable and understood. I highly recommend her.

Takes time to listen and learn about your history. Explains everything well. No pressure.

I’ve seen her twice when my regular doctor isn’t available, and I’m not impressed. The first time she burst out laughing while I explained my symptoms (she was apparently “tired”). The second time it seemed she was interested in just pressuring me in to schedule pointless appointments, Seemingly to collect an easy billing. (I requested STD bloodwork and she kept calling insisting I come in to discuss, even though I could see through the lab everything was negative. She also kept insisting I make an appointment for annual physical bloodwork, even though I explained I’m being treated for something relatively rare and my Endo orders full bloodwork every three months). Avoid.

Dr. Ramgoolam is my DO. She is extremely knowledgeable and words wonders with her hands. I am in less pain without surgery or pain meds. I would absolutely recommend her without hesitation. She is like a miracle worker.

I don't have much time to waste that being said she was very accommodating to my busy schedule and she does not waste time. Explained my condition very well and also gave me pointers on how to prevent it in the future. All in all very pleasant to deal with.

I got the best possible treatment from Doctor Ramgoolam!! I might not be alive if Doctor Ramgoolam didn’t listen and insist I go to the Hospital and follow her diagnosis and recommended treatment! Dr Ramgoolam is a very professional, knowledgeable, and able to relieve your pain without the need of using medications. She uses her hands to diagnose and treat you. I highly recommend her especially for patients who has been suffering of muscular-skeletal, headaches, or any other kind of pain without relieve with any other treatment.
