Dr. Christine Albrecht, MD

You sign up to see this doctor but you see an NP instead. She initially acts concerned and informative however you are just a number and treated that way. They do not care about symptoms, they do not care about testing and getting to the issue of symptoms. They may run some tests to say they did but they don’t listen to you. They also don’t send reminders for appointments or even schedule future appointments. The nurse taking calls then shames you for “as a woman, you need to keep track of when you should be seeing them” then when you are overdue for your prescription and call to see why, they won’t refill your prescription even if until you can see them so now, you have been seeing them and they won’t help you.

I have seen this doctor since 1999. Had only a few hiccups at the beginning. It’s now 2023 and I am getting to the end of my childbearing years. I love her but I am sick and tired of her office staff. Her front office staff to be specific. I have not said anything because she will not allow you to say anything negative about them. I know that because I tried to ask about it once and was basically told that I could go and see someone else. Now I have been dropped due to not following the plan of care. The appointment cancellation started with her. I just don’t know what to do. I have lots of issues and I simply didn’t think I would have to look for a new provider after all of these years.

Due to poor time management on Dr. Albrecht's part, I decided to go to another OBGYN. I was told that I could not get my medical records unless I paid a $30 fee. My Oncologist and his team was dumbfounded when they heard this! They do no know of ANY doctors who charge their patients to get their medical records. I paid on a Wednesday and my appointment was out of town the following Monday. When I arrived, I asked if my records had been sent over from Dr. Albrecht's office and was told they were not. I call Dr. Albrecht's office and the young girl on the other end advised that she had them ready since last week. I told her I paid in advance and was waiting to see doctor and needed those send ASAP. Hence, she finally did her job....what a MESS!!!! I am a working single woman and do not have time to wait 3 hours to see a doctor who could care less about her patients time. I am paid hourly so it costed me more than just her fee to see her!

Make sure you ask any an all questions regarding billing! After my insurance said I had no more to pay, this office sent me to collections for a $300 balance WITHOUT my knowing until I got a letter in the mail from Albrecht's office. After calling for the billing department, I have yet to receive a call back. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

Dr. Albrecht & the Advanced team is amazing. I NEVER felt rushed or unimportant. She listened to all of my concerns & even stayed late with me answering questions twice! When my son was born, she delivered him. At 9 pm, she checked on me before leaving the hospital. When she made it home, she called our TGMC nurse directly to check on my son. P.S. I didn't know anyone that worked there prior to becoming a patient. You cannot go wrong with these doctors, nurse p, and the entire staff!

Extremely informative and sensitive to a woman's needs, especially during pregnancy.

She is very dismissive regarding your concerns. The exam rooms are not private due to the thin walls. (You can hear everything from the next room) when calling to make appointments or speak to the staff you are prompted to leave a voicemail. I was told on multiple occasions that I mixed up my appointment time and had to reschedule or I was sitting in the waiting room and heard people getting upset because of time discrepancies or having mixed up th entire day! Not likely for working people.

Very nice lady, but it ends there. Found her very rude & was not willing to spend time answering questions or explaining anything. Her staff is terrible! Do NOT waste time here!
