Dr. Christine Chen, MD

Condescending and ironically not kid friendly pediatrician. Very unhappy with dr Chen.. I don’t think she should be at Huntington heath with the other superb doctors as she doesn’t reflect the same compassion.

I just visited this dr for my sick daughter. She was incredibly condescending, made us feel unwelcome, and has poor bedside manner. I can’t believe she is a pediatrician.. I think she should perhaps switch to general practitioner and not care for little children. I’m assuming she doesn’t have kids or doesn’t like kids as she was not warm at all to my children. Her remarks were very condescending. I will be sure to stick to all the other pediatricians in the office. Stay away!

Dr. Chen was rude and very negative. You would expect a baby doctor to have a good bedside manner, but nope. She made us unnecessarily fearful of something that is absolutely normal at our stage. Would never go back to her.

Took my son to her when he had fever. She gave me a guilt trip over not knowing all this temperatures during the day. I did not need that as a first time parent. I was already very stressed out. Took my daughter to her a couple years later and she was very short and didn’t help ease any concerns I had over her unirany track infections. She told me a lot of kids loss control of thier bladder.

Brought my 10yr old son for his annual physical exam, given that my soon is overweight, she only examined his mouth, ears, weight.Then she told me that i must put him on a diet to lose weight and to bring him back in 6month after he'd lost the weight and then she'll have tests done on him. Hello! i want to see if he has any illnesses right now, not 6mos from now. She totally was just blaming me for his overweight, which in part I'm guilty. She didn't seem to be concern with his current health

She is so great with my older son who is for that when my second son was born there was no question that I wanted Dr Chen as his pediatrician as well.
