Dr. Christine Tran, MD

My overall experience with the medical care if Dr Tran was great.I had laparoscopic prostatectomy proceduresdone, during the entire process Dr Tran is so informative and outlined everything,she explained in detail what treatment options is necessary related to your conditions.Its been a month and a half since my surgery I’m fully recovered thank to Dr Christine Tran,Loudoun Urology Group,I highly recommend her along with her staff,excellent experience.

I saw Dr. Tran for a kidney stone on Oct. 12, 2023 and had a CT scan on Oct. 13, 2023. It is 5:15pm on Oct. 24, 2023 and Dr. Tran has YET to contact me regarding the findings on the scan. I have called several times and been told that she is in surgery or not in the office. It is almost 2 weeks later, and she can’t be bothered to let me know further treatment options. I will be reporting her to the Office of Civil Rights for lack of response in medical care.

Have seen Dr. Tran for the last 3 years and initially was very pleased. However the last two visits have been disappointing. In the most recent visit Dr. Tran after listening to my description of my symptoms and reading a lab report recommended that I undergo a surgical procedure. However I had just undergone that exact procedure 6 months before , and she was the doctor who referred me! Clearly the Dr. had not even bothered to consult my chart. Clearly this is not acceptable.

Following Dr. Tran's Rezume prostate procedure, my husband experienced the following issues: 3 weeks (instead of a few days) with foley catheter, significant bleeding and pain, 3 infections including prostatitis, a 12-hour ER visit, and damage to the femoral artery. He is currently being followed by another urologist and seen by a physical therapist. There was virtually no response from Dr. Tran, her staff or any other doctor in the group to the issues reported to Dr. Tran's staff, even to a CT scan of the bladder which they ordered and showed an infection. The staff denied receiving subsequent hospital/test reports and still had no comment after we faxed them the reports. The office procedures during the removal of the catheter were conveyer-belt like, and the lack of compassion, follow-up, and unwillingness to address the myriad of problems was disconcerting.

I've had many procedures to treat my kidney stones and by far the easiest and pain-free procedure was with Dr. Tran. She listens well, takes time to understand and address any concerns. After most of my procedures with other doctors, I would be a pain for days afterwards. But Dr. Tran, she seemed to hit the stones, and only the stones, with the laser so I ended up feeling great after the surgery.

Not likely to recommend Dr.Tran due to my experience with her that I do not wish to rehash as part of this review!

She doesn’t explain anything about your situation. What’s the position of your disease. Send it for test in specific place, that seems not right. That must be patient choice. Doctor can give list of the places patient can do their test. I don’t recommend to see this doctor

Dr. Tran is outstanding. She listens and gives you the time you need...no rushing like my prior urologist. But she is also exceptionally competent and thorough. She did a ureter repair and reimplant, with bladder mobilization on me, using the DaVinci robot. The entire experience was top notch healthcare. She is very careful, and I always felt that I could trust her judgement. I will also note that during various procedures at the hospital, when the nurses or techs found out my doctor was Dr. Tran, without exception, they raved about her.

Dr Tran is knowledgeable, easy to talk to, has a passion for her work and compassion for this patient and I’m sure for all.

Dr. Tran is an EXCELLENT Provider, she takes the time necessary to work with her patients. She is gentle and very caring. I HIGHLY Recommend her to all my friends and have even recommended her to my primary care doctor to have then refer patients to her. I wish she could be my primary care that is how much I like her.

Dr Tran is an excellent, highly trained urologist and a wonderfully caring doctor and human being. She recently completed the new Urolift prostate procedure on me and the results are fantastic. She regularly does many other types of surgery for patients with more serious problems. Dr Tran and her colleague Dr Schenk at The Urology Group are personal heroes of mine. I tacitly thank them for fixing my two-year BPH problem every morning.

Dr. Tran is an amazing personality. She is very professional and focus to the patient,s need. I have visited her office for a urinal problem, she has diagnosed the problem and took a very prompt action to cure it. Very impressed. Looking forward to have a minor surgery by her on 01-02-2019, which happened to be my Birthday. Like her a lot.

Dr Christine Tran is the most amazing and kindest Doctor I have ever met in my life ; She helped my husband with a very complicated bladder cancer and had taken care of all message and concerns I couldn’t recommend her more highly Thank you and God Bless you

Dr. Tran performed a cystoscopy and she was very professional. I was nervous about the procedure, but I had no discomfort and she answered all my questions. She was kind and caring and I would definitely recommend her.
