This provider really went above and beyond to put my mind at ease and gave me great care while I was admitted to the hospital. It was an overall positive experience.

He treated my mother for a bowel infection, answered all of our questions, and got her feeling better and back home from the hospital in less than 48 hours.

He is very on point with diagnoses and he explains complex medical conditions very well. Truly a great doctor!!

Dr. Avanzato, or "Dr. Chris" as I call him, is the most compassionate doctor I've ever had. I was admitted to the hospital under his care for pneumonia and heart failure for about a week and during that time Dr. Avanzato worked tirelessly to help me navigate many of my complex health issues. He even took the time to schedule all of my followup appointments on my behalf, optimize my prescription medications, and explain all of my test results to me in great detail. It is due to his efforts that I made a full recovery from my illness. Dr. Avanzato went above and beyond to provide me with the special care that I needed and I truly believe that having him as my doctor saved my life.

I had the displeasure of speaking with this provider, who gaslighted me to discharge my father to a facility that ended up being below sub-par. Using intimidation tactics, he told me if I didn't move to discharge my father to a facility in a day--sight unseen--that I may potentially be on the hook for large hospital bills or lose out on an opportunity for a bed at a facility. Worse than that, he told me and my mother it was the best facility out of the two options and was a great choice. His exact words were "I have no reason to lie to you..." Well, the facility was an atrocity, not fit for any human being and I immediately had my father re-directed back to the hospital. This led to my father being denied room, having to be re-admitted and stuck in the emergency room 18+ hours counting. His actions were impulsive, manipulative and led to a bad patient experience. I'm sure his actions do not fall in line with Albert Einstein Hospital's mission, which is to provide exceptional care.

My dad was under the care of Dr. Avanzato when he was hospitalized for heart failure. Dr. Avanzato was epitome of a good doctor who throughly answered our questions and put my dad at ease while under his care.
