Dr. Christopher Blevins, MD

I cannot recommend him highly enough. From the moment I walked into his office, it was clear that he is not only an expert in his field but also genuinely cares about his patients. Dr. Blevins trained at Mayo Clinic, and it shows. He walked me through every step of the process with patience and clarity, ensuring I felt informed and comfortable the entire time.What truly sets Dr. Blevins apart is his compassionate, caring approach. He takes the time to listen and really understand his patients, treating everyone with the respect and kindness you would expect from a doctor who truly sees you as more than just a case. I felt like I was receiving the highest level of care possible, and it’s clear that Dr. Blevins is dedicated to providing the best outcomes for his patients.I am grateful for his attention to detail and how he always took the time to answer my questions and address my concerns.

I saw Dr Blevins days after I learned I had 3 large benign liver tumors. He dismissively interrupted me while I was speaking to say my tumors (softball-sized) weren’t large, don’t cause discomfort (they do, they irritate the ribs) & seemed annoyed that I wanted to talk to a dr about it. It’s not crazy to be worried about tumors… I had to follow up with Blevins about my 6 mo MRI which showed all tumors shrunk, 1 by nearly 10%. Blevins’ note on it: “NO CHANGE”. Shrinking isn’t change? My new Dr at the U of M measured my images & didn’t think they shrunk, said I should ask radiology to remeasure so my records can be accurate. Radiology said only the Dr who ordered the MRI can call-in the remeasure. I ask if Blevins can please call it in & his response was “this is unorthodox… not sure what’s behind this… tell her to go back to the U.” What an attitude! He refused to help me & is implying, what, that I’m scheming or something? My surgeon & I just want accurate records. Sorry to burden you
