Worst specialist doctor I've ever had
I had three visits with this doctor. The experience went from bad to worst.Suffering from a debilitating lungs infection makes you even more in need to hope for some attention and resolution. This is NOT the place, and this is NOT the doctor that will help you with that.I had three visits with him, he was late minimum 30 min. for each of the appointments followed by all kind of office handovers that were inefficient, full of mistakes and definitely no compassion for your suffering and needs. In two of the meetings, he started yawning while I was explaining the reason I was there. The medication is provided late, from 2 days to 10 days after the visit. You need to call their office every day to remind them to release the order for the pharmacy.I wish there were means to vote and remove doctors like him from their practice.

Inconceivable Pomposity
Dr. Christopher Blewett was the ICU doctor responsible for my mother’s care. Her sodium level had dropped to a 115 which caused loss of sensorium. When her sodium level stabilized, Dr. Blewett was anxious to discharge her. I was grateful for the improved sodium level. However, I questioned the continued distention of her stomach. As he appeared to be annoyed with my question, he asked who did my mom’s surgery and questioned why her surgeon had not come to see her and discuss her care with me. After a call to her initial surgeon who botched her surgery by accidentally puncturing her bladder, he returned with a cold bedside manner. He told me that her pain was "procedural" and she was not the sickest patient on the floor. Mom had emergency exploratory surgery the night he discharged her only to find that her catheter was placed through the back of her bladder, and her intestines were matted around the catheter! Dr. Blewett's pompous and unconcerned demeanor was too much for my comfort.

Visit with Dr. Blewett. He had another patient on speaker phone on his cell and I could hear his conversation clearly. Door to hall in exam room stayed open so no issue with hearing as he spoke to the patient. Came in to examine me (been diagnosed with asthma, copd and have survived Covid) and said I was doing well on my current meds. I asked what, if anything, the chest x-ray showed and he asked if I had one, I told him I had. He excused himself, went into the hall and tried to locate my x-ray. He couldn't (I sat there and watched him) then came back in and said my x-ray was fine. Perhaps he was relying on a radiologist read but I asked him why I had such issues breathing if my lungs were "well controlled". He stated he wanted to have a lung test scheduled (after telling me that the heart test my GP wanted me to have was a waste of time and money). I have cancelled my future appt with him and will find a competent and professional doctor that isn't just looking to get my ins.

No sedation. For a bronchioscopw for a frail patient Dr Blewitt knew he was hurting him. Basically tortured him not once but TWICE at the facility he was at!

Extremely frustrating, disgusting lack of concern & disappointing. Saw Dr. Blewett because I could not get appointment with Dr. Davidoff. Have existing chronic lung disease and made appointment due to coughing, wheezing, shortness of breath and sore throat. Dr. Blewett diagnosed me with upper respiratory infection, bronchitis & laryngitis and planned to prescribe antibiotics and steroids. Prescriptions were not sent to my pharmacy for over one week. I called the office every day, spoke to multiple staff members who took zero action. Left many messages with no return phone calls. Spoke to the Office Manager to appeal for her help but she took no action. Finally, Dr. Blewett left me a voice mail message a week after the office visit and said “....I was going through my inbox and see your prescriptions were not called in. Sorry....just called them in.” There is no excuse for this lack of action, lack of concern and total disregard for a sick patient and zero follow up.

He was amazing and came to see me every day while I was in the hospital even though I was not his patient. I was Dr Wilson's but no longer. I hope I can transfer to him.

Dr. Blewett has been my pulmonologist for 5 years. I was recently seriously ill and hospitalized for an extended period. I received excellent care from Dr. Blewett and the other doctors in the practice. I appreciate his care and his caring.

Dr. Blewett was treating my Husband after contracting Pulmonary Fibrosis a very Acute and often times fatal Condition. My Husband's Pulmonary Fibrosis was caused by being prescribed and having taken a Drug for his Afib called Amiodarone Dr. Blewett was not the Prescriber I assure you. Dr. Blewett fought everday (45 days to be exact in Plano, Presby ICU to save My Husband's life. Dr. Blewett is probably one of the most Caring, Compassionate, Dr's I have ever encountered. God Bless you Dr. Blewett

Dr Blewett is an extremely capable, compassionate & considerate doctor and I am so happy that he is taking care of my father at Presby Plano. Kindest doctor I have ever met and has always taken the time to keep me updated, explained every procedure and listened to & answered every question I have had. We've been so fortunate to have him on duty for the past week while my father has been in the ICU.
