Chris Bojrab is the best
I am a retired MD. I have been treated for depression and anxiety for over 25 years and have been under the care of Chris for over 5 years. He is probably the most knowledgeable, up to date psychiatrist that I have ever had. And he uses state-of-the-art approaches. For example, at my first visit he ordered a pharmacogenomic test because I was having all kinds of problems finding the right antidepressant and dose to keep my depression under control. This test evaluates your genomic alleles for drug metabolism (how fast or slow you clear specific drugs from your body) and critical transporters in the brain related to depression. The results were very revealing and explained the difficulties I was having. I was either a fast or slow metabolizer of all the antidepressants except one which he placed me on and things have been great since. He has a very engaging, pleasant personality and open to suggestions or concerns that I have to come up with the best treatment plan. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

He has changed my life. I’ve been seeing him since I was 11 and had no idea what was going on. When I went away to college, he kept in contact and had appointments over the phone. I recommend him to everyone I can, he’s the best doctor I’ve ever had.

As a teenager with Major Depressive Disorder and Bipolar he tried me on all kinds of new medicines on the market that were supposed to be great, only they didn't have generic versions and were extremely expensive. I repeatedly had terrible side effects but he used me like a guinea pig. I saw him for 8 years trying medicine after medicine until I moved-my new doc had me managed within a year. Later I found out Bojrab was a guest speaker about several of the drugs he tried me on. Shady.

Hands down, best psychiatric experience ever! Dr. Bojrab is kind, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable when it comes to medications. He tends to run behind, I assume because he gives each person every minute of time they need. Well worth every penny and the wait to see him. Kuddo's to you Dr. B!
