Terrible experience!
Do your research to find a good integrative medicine dr. Do not waste your time & money on Dr. Calapai. When I saw him several yrs ago for my chronic and painful R.A. I did the stem cell therapy and paid him $10k and it did absolutely nothing for me. His procedure is not done properly. He simply injected my stem cells into my arm. This is not the correct procedure for administering stem cells. Dr. Calapai is very arrogant, unprofessional, dishonest and money hungry. He's doesn't listen and he's downright rude.

He’s 1/4 good and 3/4 charlatan
I went to see Dr. Calapei after two shoulder surgeons told me they could not help me and that a shoulder operation would leave me in worse condition. So I figured why not try stem cells? A friend of mine told me he had wonderful results from stem cell treatment from Dr. Calapei. But an MRI showed that I had a 3.5 cm rotator cuff tear and I think any doctor should’ve known that stem cells could not possibly correct that. So I spent $7500 and I did get relief which enabled me to do daily chores without pain. But now I’ve gone to see a third and a fourth shoulder surgeon and I’ve been told by both that an operation can definitely help me and so that’s the route I’m taking. Dr. Calapei made a lot of money from me and gave me relief but he should’ve been more honest with me I feel, and told me that the stem cells could not possibly heal a large tear. Now that I have had major surgery I am finally feeling better. He lied to me.

Dr Calapai
I began with Dr Calapai in June of 2016. He found I was diabetic by blood sugar readings and that of the A1C, which was 7.2 at the time. He began the course of treatment by having me eliminate carbs and sugars from my diet, increase daily activity through walking half hour a day and having me build up lean muscle tissue through weight training. Those were the peripheral steps initially begun In addition, to address the central issue regarding my body's insulin production, we applied stem cell therapy to reinvigorate and repair the pancreas' ability to sufficiently produce insulin. Over the course of TWO months, my weight dropped initially by @ 30 pounds, continuing to do so. My sugar readings dropped to ranges of daily reading between 90-100. ALL this without medication. Dr Calapai uses a comprehensive bloodwork to read what the body is revealing in @ 25 pages, more than a traditional 2-3 page blood work at conventional doctors offices. I recommend Dr Calapi to anyone interested.

Yep, pretty bad
I saw Dr Calapei years ago but I still remember how bad the experience was (not for him, though, because he made a lot of money on me) He prescribes supplements - which he just happens to sell - and expensive Vitamin drips, but nothing changes. Lucky for him that he has a radio shoe - that's how he gets his clients. Huge ego, little compassion

Seeing Dr. Calapai was a complete waste of time. Been dealing with fatigue from chronic anxiety. He barely listened to me the entire appointment. Said my daily physical fatigue from stress was not from stress, but was due to Epstein-Barr (mono) from 6 years ago. Never have I ever experienced symptoms of mono in my life. The guy was so closed minded & irritated when I told him I disagreed. Another god-complex know it all with a medical degree.. I’m sure his stem cell work is legitimate but be professional. The guy has enough time for his own radio show but holds terrible reviews and I see why.

First visit wasrushed snd brusque. Brought records to show dr snd he barely looked at them. Answered with annoyed tone and did not seem to care about treating me or answering questions just keeps directing you to his website. He’s more engaged with the people on his radio show than when you are a paying customer in his office

Totally unprofessional office. My husband talked to Dr C on the phone. He told my husband to call the office. Dr C told my husband to send a copy of his Medicare card to the office which he did 5 weeks ago. After that my husband could never even get an appt because not one person in his office called him back to schedule the appt. My husband has been trying for over a month to get an appt and he called the office numerous times almost daily. The response was we will be calling you back later today, you guessed it, no call back EVER. I started reading the reviews and told my husband to reconsider using Dr C. This whole practice is a joke. Run don’t walk away from this practice. I kept telling my husband you shouldn’t have to chase a Dr to take our money. He finally agreed after reading the reviews. I have just found another Dr for my husband. We are done.

Dr Calapai could do better by listening to his patients. People go to him because they do not believe their doctors are paying enough attention to them. I had prolotherapy done for my plantar fasciitis which worked. Had PRP done but no result. I believe it was due to the fact that it was not image guided and the platelets didn’t go directly into the disc or the platelets were not Amber color after centrifuged. I didn’t even have to lie on my stomach he injected it while bent forward. $

This has to be one of the worst procedures ever... People told me that this doctor was all about himself and a money maker .. I should have listened... 10,000 dollars later there has been absolutely no improvement in my health since having the stem cell therapy..i was desperate and wanted relief.. I think that Dr Calapai preyed on my weakness. This doctor LIED to me saying that based on my blood test results, that I needed a procedure done ..after having 2 other doctors look at that wasn't true!!

They only care about how much they can bill you. There treatments don’t work and there staff is very rude and unprofessional. There scheduling is poor as you wait at least an hour just to get into a room. That’s not because there so great just that they only have office hours three half days a week. Probably because of there declining business

Only cares about money. Doesn't spend a lot of time with you. Rushes. Gets annoyed if you ask questions. Staff don't use gloves when touching your skin where they draw blood. Seen staff argue with each other in front of patients.

Unprofessional surroundings throughout the office. Unclean restroom. Blood pressure, weight taken in hall with other patients walking past. Staff eating while interacting with patients. Complete physical exam by doc consisted of listening to heart, lungs. I was interested in treatment for knees. I had current blood results, but the doctor wanted to draw 25 vials of which few tests needed for knees. Pushing treatments for other issues was obvious that money was the leading service factor.

I highly recommend Dr. Chris Calapai. He is a professional, caring and expert in conventional and alternative medicine. I visited him for my hypothyroidism issues. After complete blood tests and listening to my health concerns, he suggested several nutritional supplements and ordered Thyroid capsules. After following his recommendation, I noticed my health improved tremendously and I have much more energy. It is only five (5) months that I met Dr. Calapai and I am very grateful and blessed
