Dr. Christopher Cooper, DO

For several years, I saw Chris Cooper, I thought I was being treated effectively...but, during that time there were several mistakes made. The cancellation of appointments because of 'leave of absence' started concerning me. Treatment was not always correct in that the handling of specific matters should have been referred to 'Expert-Specialized' physicians. His office manager was a joke, in dealing with matters that mistakes were paid, she refused to correct. At one point stating that if the amount (that was incorrect) was not paid, she would turn the minimal amount over to a collection agency and discharge me as a patient. I asked the matter be referred to Dr. Chris, and was told he had taken another leave of absence. I informed her to refer any amount to whomever as I had retired as a 'Forensic Accountant'. Nothing was ever done by her. When getting copies of my file, I discovered many, many errors. Recently, I discovered a friend had the same experience. Thus this review.

My visit was really good Dr. Chris answered all my questions and told me all my blood work came out great My next appointment will be in January 2020l

This is not about Dr Cooper; it’s about his office manager. Her staff ran my debit card for the full amount in my bank account without asking me how much I wanted to pay. They cleaned my bank account completely out and refused to return any money. Now I have to cancel the payment with the bank. This type of collections activity is unscrupulous at best. DO NOT GIVE THEM A DEBIT CARD. ONLY PAY IN CASH - for your security.

Dr. Chris is great! He always takes the time to explain what's going on with me. I feel like he is really invested in my care. I would recommend Cooper Family Medical to anyone who is looking for that hometown doctor feel.

The nurse at this office entered my medications incorrectly as a new patient so when it was time to get refills, they prescribed the wrong medication. They did not want to admit their mistake and blamed it on me. The office manager then discharged me from the practice because I let her know that the medical practice that I work in would have bent over backward to help our patients and make things right. This is not a very customer service oriented office.
