Terrible Experience
I made an appointment to be seen by Dr. Crosby for a plantars wart issue. When I arrived he insisted that I get an X-ray, I indicated it wasn't necessary for the issue and that I was just x-rayed when I saw him in November at Murrells Inlet. The nurse came back in and said that Dr Crosby indicated to let me know that he does not treat plantars warts!!! I left the office very irritated as I made the appointment for a issue that I felt was a plantar wart!!! He didn't even look at my foot or anything!!!DON'T go to this guy... he seems to just want $ for X-rays every visit... again never even looked at my condition before saying to X-ray... a total rip off!!!

Horrible Experience
Dr. Crosby did not care whatsoever about my severe foot pain and problem. He told me information that I could look up online. Didn't even look at my x ray images or review them with me. Terrible experience, he doesn't actually care about his patients. OrthoSC in general was a terrible experience. Do not go to OrthoSC in Market Common.

Terrible
First I was shocked to hear from the nurse that came in that the doctor only sees one foot at a time. What? I never heard of such a thing. Then when he came in he said he couldn't help us and referred us back to our Primary Care again what? The primary care center to an orthopedic surgeon to find out why you was having such foot pain he said go back to the primary care to get labs ridiculous! He's dismissive don't bother.

Very disappointed
After experiencing foot pain for over a year, I made an appointment with Dr. Crosby. I chose him because of the reviews I have read. Aside from doing x-rays, he told me to continue doing the things I had already been doing for over a year that didn't help. Ice, tape, roll the arch on a ball. Come back in 2 weeks if no improvement. Well, there was no improvement in a year, why would there be improvement in 2 more weeks? In the meantime, my foot continued to get worse. And no, I had no intention of returning in 2 weeks. I went to see a chiropractor.

I was having trouble with the nerves in my foot & leg with a lot of pain. Did not understand what was happening and also was afraid. I have never met Dr. Crosby but I am so happy that I did because he is very professional. He took the time to explain things, and was very thorough on details that when I left I felt calm and new everything was going to be ok. I have had a lot done with my foot and this is time, I had a doctor to really sat down and explain things to me in so much detail that I totally got the picture of what's going on. So very thankful for him!!!

Dr. Crosby is an excellent physician and talented surgeon. He is kind, patient, and thorough, and exhibits compassion at every visit. He suggested alternative treatment options and is extremely knowledgeable. I feel fortunate that he surgically treated my joint problem, and the excellent outcome I have experienced makes me sincerely grateful.

I had a tendon repair done on my left ankle 3 years ago. Dr. Crosby was amazing! Not only did he repair the tendon, but he gave me the use of my ankle again...! No more pain, it's awesome! I am going for a 2nd surgery in December for my right foot - NOT worried at all....this is an easier surgery, and not as long a recovery. Looking forward to getting it done so I can wear something else beside my chucks!!! Dr. Crosby is amazing, and he takes his time to make sure you will understand everything - If you need a great foot/ankle Doctor, I highly recommend Dr. Crosby without hesitation!!
