Outstanding Experience
I was very anxious about finding a gastroenterologist when I moved from New York to New Hampshire. Fortunately, I wound up with Dr Dainiak, whose friendly and professional manner immediately put me at ease. He not only took care of former issues, but assisted me in what I needed to do to prevent future ones. His outstanding bedside manner and appropriate sense of humor really made a difference, and I use his advice every single day. His consistency and Continuum of Care throughout several appointments and procedures was vital to my health improvement. I was very surprised to see the complaints here, and then I realized they weren't about him. Thank goodness! He is a rare gem, for sure.

Stay Away!
Told the office exactly what I was coming in for and they waited until I was with the NP to tell me they didn’t treat either of those issues. I never even saw the doctor, but the NP has no business in GI. She has no business in medicine. She was completely uninformed, dismissive and rude. Kept telling me my only issue is reflux, which I have never had. I’ve already been diagnosed and treated by a competent GI who moved out of state, so I know. I was flat out told I don’t experience the symptoms that I do. Stay far, far away from this office. I can only hope the doctor is unaware of how incompetent his NP is. Thankfully, I have now found someone in Boston who is qualified to practice medicine.

Poor follow up
I recently had an endoscopy procedure. My initial call as well as follow up to the office was extremely difficult with hold time of over an hour. The staff never mailed out biopsy report and I was never approached by the doctor following procedure. I met him prior for about one minute. He might be a good doctor but administrative and support staff is awful at a time when patient has real concerns about health.
