well I had my first appointment and he’s getting me into for a scope to see what’s going on. Hopefully he’ll redo my surgery. That’s what I’m hoping for fingers crossed.

I had Gastric Bypass Surgery by Dr. Evanson on May 5, 2005 and he was absolutely amazing. I can say that I am doing absolutely amazing. I weighed in at 298 lbs the day of surgery, and I am currently a steady 170 lbs 19 years later. Bariatric Surgery completely saved my life, and I was able to raise my son who was 3 at the time and is now 23.

He did a removal of an ulcer and reversal of the bariatric surgery that I had in 2009. He was wonderful!

I was so sick when I went to the hospital. He explains everything, treated me like I’ve been his patient for years, and knows what he’s doing. I had many issues going on outside of my illness, he took the time to let me vent and listened. He talked to me on my level with no rushing, 110/ bedside manners and his staff, and partners were just as awesome. I have a long way to go, but if it wasn’t for him I wouldn’t be here to write this. I would recommit to anyone!

Dr. Evanson is an amazing surgeon. I had a Bari sleeve and had minimal discomfort afterwards. The process is very thorough with preop classes and dietary support for the rest of your life. He truly cares about his patients and gives excellent care.

Says one thing doesn't follow through

Dr. Evanson was so very personable, friendly and caring. He made me feel like he had all the time I needed. Through in his explanation of how the hernia surgery would be done and what was required of me for recovery and healing. A very informed and kind individual.

Years ago I went to look into bariatric surgery and wasn't really liking what the Dr was saying during the class it scared me. Over er a year ago I decided to give it another try and went to a class with Dr. Evanson and that was life changing. After listening to all the details and questions he answered I knew right then and there I was ready to get surgery! Dr. Evanson has such a great spirit and tells you like it is. He has helped change my life forever!! He goes above and beyond knowing the true medical issue each patient has so the surgery will be successful for them. Also helped me realize all these years I have been having tailbone issues was just due to how I was sitting and needed to have better posture and what a difference its made sitting up more. I wish all bariatric patients had the opportunity to experience Dr. Evanson he is truly one of the best surgeons in the country! So if you are wanting weightloss surgery Dr. E is your guy!
