Horrible experience. He has zero social skills and treated me as inconvenience. My appointment was max 5min long with him having one foot out of the door. Had to schedule appointment with another ENT specialist out of network just to have my questions answered. Very rude and unprofessional

Easily the worst ENT I've ever seen, and perhaps the worst doctor of any type that I've visited. After waiting well over a month for any appointment, he was clearly running late, and spent less than 5 minutes on my 'exam'. The 'exam' consisted of looking in my ears, listening to me for no more than a minute, then telling me to email him later. He also said that cutting a hole in my eardrum was likely to be the only option. After going to the audiologist (who was very nice, btw), I emailed Gouveia, and he again said that cutting a hole in the eardrum was his only recommendation, and that it had, at best, a 50-50 chance of improving the situation. He also misspelled 'eustachian tube' as 'distraction tube' which I attributed to a Freudian slip, as he made me feel like I was a nothing more than a distraction.
