Dr. Herne spent less than 5 minutes with me. I had fallen and had pain in my shoulder.. he did not order X-rays. He looked my arm and said it was a bicep tear.But I had no pain in my bicep, only my shoulder. He said to buy a lidocaine patch for my bicep and I did and it was no help whatsoever. I felt he was very unconcerned with my complaint. I will not agree to see him again.

There was a miscommunication between Hearne and another doctor we were referred to in the system- an urgent appointment was not set and it resulted in medication errors and a medical emergency for the patient which resulted in devastating results for the patient.

My family has been seeing this physician for many years. Recently my wife had a major condition that is routinely missed by physicians due to vague, non-specific symptoms. Dr. Hearne immediately identified the cause allowing for surgery literally just in time to avoid a very poor outcome. He is truly expert in his field and probably the best diagnostic internist I have ever seen. I am most fortunate to have him. Highly recommend without reservation.
