Dr. Christopher Maurischat did not believe me when I was admitted into St Francis Hospital; if a neurosurgeon had not followed up with my imaging, I would have been released with a broken neck. He in fact put some of my words from our very brief exam in "quotes" as if I were lying. I had been pushed on a subway platform and he did not believe me. I do NOT recommend this "doctor" or any other that treats women and victims the way he did. I ended up having an emergency surgery on my "injury" that night and no thanks to him, I am doing better today. It is inconceivable that a doctor adds more guilt, shame and pain to a situation because he is too simple to believe something might be true. BELIEVE the patients that come into the ER, Doc!!!
