Dr. Merrick did what is the most important thing a Doctor can do and that is to Listen to his patient. Dr Merrick took the time to listen and to have my wife fully explain her issues. Based on her input and his through examination, he formulated a plan of action that included blood work and breathing stress tests.He is very friendly, very respectful and very attentive. He has a wealth of knowledge that he imparts in layman's terms so his patients can understand what his diagnosis is and what the plan will be going forward.My wife is so very thankful that she got to meet him, be treated by him and she highly recommends him. As do I.

I met Dr. Christopher Merrick. I was instantly struck by his stature, warmth and southern charm and of course, his obvious good looks. He was attentive, listening to my nightmarish story of being given a death sentence by a previous health care provider, which thankfully turned out to be inaccurate. Dr. Merrick allowed me the time it takes to thoroughly assess my situation, and to review the cat scan results with me, skillfully explaining every detail. It was a return to the days of old and the kind of care doctors use to provide, before big pharma and money sadly consumed the industry. Not only does Dr. Merrick exemplify what should be the standard for all physicians, he does it with a unique sense of compassion, humor and expertise, that is palatable.The entire staff, from the front office to the back, was beyond my expectation, stripping away any remote cynicism, leaving me with a sense of unjaded awe.I highly recommend Dr. Christopher Merrick!

Office staff friendly 1st of all. Dr. Merrick listens, answers questions, explains completely and great bed side manner. Shows concern about your well fair and very consensus about treatments, courses of action to improve health/quality of life. Dr Merrick actually cares and is proactive. Wonderful change from all the Doctors who don't give a rip and rush you out the door.
