Dr Oliver and his staff are amazing. My total thyroidectomy was great. I have spoken to many other people who had a thyroidectomy by other surgeons and they are all amazed at how quickly I have recovered. I attribute that to Dr. Oliver’s outstanding skill as a surgeon. My scar is much smaller than any other scar that I have seen. Also, I am very impressed with the nursing staff at Porter Adventist Hospital. I was only there one night but they were all very friendly and kind and professional.

After much frustration with another provider I sought a second opinion at Dr Oliver's office. The methodical approach, communication from the nurse and PA, and logical conclusions exceeded expectation. As a person with knowledge of the Institute of Health Improvement this practice demonstrates the highest standards put forth by that organization. Safe, clean, communicative and competent.

I strive to provide treatments aimed at minimizing post operative pain for my patients, and want to take time to educate my patients on individual treatment needs, addressing the fear and uncertainty of post operative pain.
