over a 35 BMI don't bother going to this practice
This is my second doctor at this practice who had the same attitude. It was obvious he didn't care about anything once he figured out that my weight was too heavy to qualify (in his mind) for a hip replacement. No exam, he didn't ask me to walk for him, he didn't ask me how my hip feels - he simply looked at the X-ray for 3 seconds and said 'yeah your hip is shot you need to lose weight...' He had already written me off before he entered the office. I walked in knowing there was likely a Max BMI for surgery, I was prepared to have the discussion about how much more weight I needed to lose as I'm down 34 lb... but I guess since I wasn't ready for surgery the day I walked in there he doesn't want to talk to me. Already down another five pounds and scheduled with the surgeon who actually understands that the word care in healthcare professional is important. Wish I could have given zero stars.

Highly recommended
Dr Passariello replaced my right hip due to severe arthritis and he provides both cortisone and Gel shot injections to both of my knees that have arthritis. He’s a wonderful Dr.

He is the best. Had my left hip replaced 11 yrs ago by another surgeon and it took a good 6 months before I felt good again. Dr Passariello did my right hip in mid January and after amonth, I feel great. He is amazing. He takes his time with you and explains everything in detail and is always accessible. Would recommend to anyone.
