My honest review of an open biopsy
I went to Dr. Runyan and had a face MRI which showed that the lower part of the face were largely obscured due facial filler. I told him I had never had facial filler.He then decided to performed an open biopsy. This involved cutting through subcutaneous tissue all the way down to the fascia of the masseter muscle. This muscle fascia was included with the specimen. 2 total specimens were removed with the second specimen including the muscle fascia. During the biopsy he said, all the lady say it isn't filler and laughed about it, which was so unprofessional. He then sutured me up. After seven days I returned and a nurse by the name of Gillian to remove the stiches. She started with removing the stiches and said, I don't think they are ready to remove let me get Susan. Susan came in and they decided to remove and add Steri-stripes. I asked when was Dr. Runyan and they said he was nowhere to found. After two years I still have a scar and am so upset over my experience.
