Dr. Russell has taken care of me during my recovery from hysterectomy surgery due to endometrial cancer stage 1. We caught it early so I didn't have to go through chemo. I was most fortunate. For two years Dr. Russell has taken care of my follow-up appointments. I'm two years cancer free. Dr. Russell always listens, invites questions and makes you feel comfortable. He never makes you feel rushed. Most important.

Dr. Russell has always been extremely kind and compassionate, along with a great sense of humor, since I began seeing him several years ago. He has seen me through some tough problems and procedures. His office is faith based and has a very comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. I began taking my teen daughter to him, as well, when she began having issues. I wouldn't want her to go anywhere else.

Dr. Russell was compassionate and direct. He has the ability to discuss difficult/emotional topics with respect and kindness. After a very long time of being passed off by other providers, he reviewed my medical history and came up with a plan for me and my husband. We left my appointment feeling like we had a plan and that somebody. finally got what we were going through. I am grateful to have a doctor who is intelligent and has amazing bedside manner. I am very thankful.

Dr. Russell assisted my Gyn Oncologist, Dr. Dirk Pikaart, with my surgery that showed that I had ovarian cancer. I was diagnosed as having stage 3B ovarian cancer in February 2010. He also covered for Dr. Pikaart during morning hospital rounds on several occasions. I have since been to see Dr. Russell for another condition. His manner is very courteous and he is very knowledgeable in his practice of female related health issues. I trust him completely and I am grateful to him.

Dr. Russell was the doctor on-call for my doctor. I had never met him before, but he immediately made me feel comfortable in his care for me. I had a complicated labor and delivery, and I never once doubted his care or decisions. He did an excellent job delivering my daughter, and I appreciated his care!

Dr. Russell is a very condescending man. I'm a younger woman who, at the time of my appointment, was engaged and couldn't conceive. Dr. Russell told me I should be married before having kids, then proceeded to give me an exam for extreme pelvic pain before deciding, without the help of an ultrasound or surgery, that I was fine and I needed physical and psychotherapy. He also gave me no pain medication for my excruciating pelvic pain. I ended up needed surgery in the end.

I saw Dr. Russell for complications in my pregnancy and the delivery of my daughter. I was initially seeing a midwife, but I had several complications and had to transfer my care to a physician. Not knowing who to see, I asked my specialist for referrals. Dr. Russell was the recommendation, and it's easy to see why! He did everything he could to make my birth experience what I wanted I it be. He was also able to keep me from having to have a C-section! I highly recommend Dr. Russell.
