Would NEVER recommend
My husband had a hemorrhagic stroke and was in the hospital for several days before Dr Seward’s PA Jennifer came to see him. It should be noted we repeatedly asked to talk to the neurosurgeon. She was very unprofessional and cold told us that we should just let him die of his dementia and not bother with his bleed. Dr. Seward was no better he was very callous and cold. When my daughter called him out on that he got even more snippy and asked if we would rather he lied to us. NO empathy whatsoever as if he was doing us a favor with his presence. Additionally he didn’t see my husband until after he had been in the hospital for almost 10 days. Dr. Seward did NOTHING for my husband the only thing he did was cause me more grief. I had no choice he was the neurosurgeon in the hospital I would never had chosen him as my husband’s doctor.

Angel of Mercy
Dr. Seward performed a craniotomy on me to treat my brain lesions. Dr. Seward was competent, kind, and professional to me and my family. I owe this man my life. I didn't have a choice on the surgeon, but if I had to do it again.... I would select Dr. Seward again.

Amazing team!
Dr. Seward and his entire team was amazing. Centennial hills hospital is top of the line care. My mom was treated with a pituitary gland tumor removal. He was incredible. The anesthesiologist was so amazing. He even saw us in the lunch area and assured us everything was running smooth. From the food to the staff and nurses… I would recommend Dr.Seward and his team to anyone.

My wife was diagnosed with a massive brain tumor called meningioma. We met with him twice prior to Dr. Seward performing the operation at Centennial Hospital. He was so patient with both of us answering all of are questions. He is one of most caring doctors who let us know up front what to expect and explained to us in simple terms that we could understand what he was going to do to remove the tumor. We even got a second opinion which did not upset him and he was offended. After getting a second opinion and then meeting Dr. Seward a second time we felt so sure that Dr. Seward was the Doctor we wanted to perform the surgery. My wife is recovering and both of us are so grateful that he is the surgeon in whom we placed our trust. Knowing what I know now I would not have bothered to get a second opinion. We can't say enough good things about Dr. Seward he definitely rates 5 Stars.

Dr staff never answered or returned calls even on days they were not in clinic. Hospital referral for fractured spinal vertebrae and his office never returned 10 calls or messages. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time.

Not likely to recomend
I felt like he couldnt be bothered with me. In and out quickly. After reviewing his report he did not listen to me and I still have severe pain and muscle spasms daily. Dont take an appointment at lunchtime, you'll get the cold shoulder.

I spent about one hour with Dr Seward. He spent the first 1/2 hour asking me questions. He is not condescending, and he listens. Don't let his age fool you. He is very smart and competent.

My name is Debbie Hammer I live in Washington State. I am an RN. I want to say how impressed I am with Dr Seward . My brother James Larsen just had surgery by this MD and I cannot believe how good my brother is doing. Jim has RA and I think our whole family was thinking that the problem was related to the RA and that Jim would not turn out much better. Dr you are amazing and the whole family wants to Thank You for giving Jim back some mobility and stopping his headaches. Thank you so much The Hammer/Larsen family. Washington State

He's very Rude and does not show compassion. He works in NSICU and could care less about how he speaks to families of his patients, who are already afraid and anxious. I have no idea how he talks to his patients
