Dr. Yasenchak explains the results of my tests very clearly, asks me all the symptoms related to my condition in addition to asking if I have any other types of problems. He also answers any questions in as much detail as I want. He has genuine concern for me and his patients and I trust his judgements concerning my treatment schedule and needs.

Dr Yasenchak is a truly caring person. I missed going with my wife to her appointments and Dr, Yasenchak asked why, as I had been at every appointment for the last eleven years. My wife explained the medical issues I was having and what was being done. Dr Yasenchack called and talked with me in regards to what was my current treatment plan . After our conversation, Dr Yasenchak ordered blood work and called me as soon as he received the results. He stressed the importance of me going to hospital immediately for more extensive tests. Dr. Yasenchak became my oncologist while I was at Peace Health Hospital in Eugene, OR being treated for a life-threatening increase in my potassium level due to an apparent bone marrow malfunction. He diagnosed the problem as a form of leukemia and developed a therapy-plan to reduce bone marrow malfunction and to move my platelet-levels back into the normal range. The plan was successful but required close follow-up to insure that the bone marrow functioning would stabilize in the normal range. He scheduled frequent blood tests and consultations with me to explain the progress of the treatment in terms of achieving a normal level of bone marrow functioning. He has adjusted the level and scheduling of my medication in light of the frequent blood tests. The bone marrow functioning and my platelet levels have now moved to the normal range so that I have more energy and stamina than I did before this treatment. Dr. Yasenchak continues to monitor my progress & refine my medication level
